I doubt that anyone here is surprised, merely saddened. We are constantly and increasingly being given the very clear message that anyone who is at all to the Right of Lenin is not only unwelcome in Seattle, but will be physically attacked and harmed. It's becoming an increasingly frightening place to live.
That’s why I seldom go to Seattle - the place scares me too. I always fret a bit when heading to the airport where I work but at least it’s not all the way to Seattle. When I do go it’s daytime in summer and in winter I’m out of there early.
