I’ve tried to remain level headed with the Palin deal, but I’m starting to think this is turning into a big mess. My goodness, I don’t want that Obama in office, but this isn’t looking too good right now. I’m sick of it all. We are so screwed up in this country. With the nastiness and foulness that is going on and it just keeps getting worse and worse, I don’t know what to think any more. Sorry if this doesn’t make any sense, I’m probably just tired. I need to stay away from FR for awhile and quit thinking about this insanity. It’s making me go loopy and I’m already loopy enough.

Good morning WITT. I've been reading some of your posts. You seem to be one of the few voices on FR that don't think Palin is a good pick. I'm always impressed that you speak up even when it's not popular. I don't think I've seen you get too nasty except with the Savage hater trolls and then you seem to do it with humor.

I don't know what to think. One minute I'm thinking it was a good choice, next I'm thinking it's a big mess. I want to believe she's the one woman in the world that can do it all, but it seems like it would be a tough job. There are only so many hours in the day.

Then the left are absolutely rabid with their attacks. Of course, no matter who the GOP puts up, it's going to be a blood bath with them.

I'm not a religious person, but I'm not a heathen either, so I pray that GOD will help this country.

These are serious times and we are all getting sidetracked with teen sex and myspace!

Yes it is a direct quote. I wrote it down as he said it. But its got worse, Much worse. He said we should do to her what we did to Harriet Myers. Basically sweep her under the rug and pick someone else like Romney and even Lieberman. He said she's a nobody and would quickly be forgotten. And then he went on and on repeating the same garbage you read on the DU, about McCain picking her against his will, jumping on her daughters pregnancy, etc.

Why he has an audience at all, I don't know.
