Let's see if things start to get back to normal now. Not much of a scheduel at all at the GOP site. I am sure they are put things in line as fast as they can.
“Lieberman MUST hit a home run for John tonight.”
He’s really not the guy I’d want up there when a home run is needed.
Maybe more of a table setter- get on base and have someone else knock it out of the park.
Is Palin going to speak tomorrow night ?
Ok, you’re right. I’d be happy with a table setter. But he needs to do that par excellence.
Yes, I believe she is. Must hit a homer. Go, Sarah!
DNC/RNC in cahoots with La Raza.
Troubling but, not surprising. Let us know the overall agenda won’t change no matter who’s elected.
I read somewhere that Gov. Palin is writing her own speech and impressing the professional speech-writers.
Yep, he needs to do a good job, as does EVERYONE this week.
I sense the margin for error has gotten a lot smaller.
The MSM deck is stacked, and it isnt the swing vote tuning into Rush, hannity and Levin.
this will come down to the debates, but we still need a flawless convention from here on out.
NV, CO, and NH will flip to the GOP.
Agreed. The margin has gotten smaller. But I see a silver lining. These transparent unsubstantive attacks on the Palins may have an initial hit for McCain polling but once again he can redefine the debate. Sarah’s record is very clear as a reformer and that record will outlast the baby talk, literally, from the democrat media. They are potentially setting themselves up for a downfall.
The entire reason for the Barakopolis concert was to “get colorado”
I have seen posts here that say in the nosebleed sections people were bored out of their minds during obama’s 45 minute speech.
DOES ANYONE have pictures of the network reporters cheering?
Except for the National Anthem, tonight sounds like a snooze. They should just skip to tomorrow night.
“But I see a silver lining...once again he can redefine the debate.”
Yes, and I believe it will be defined as “Reform, Peace and Prosperity”.
“Babygate” is hopefully only a temporary setback. Too bad it disrupted the momentum from Friday’s Palin announcement. The GOP must, MUST regain some of that momentum this week.
Obama did not get much of a bounce. I like where we are sitting.
Do you really believe that the McCain campaign is being hurt in the polls because Sarah has a pregnant daughter or didnt leave for Alaska right when her water broke. Come on Norman Bates. I like reading your stuff. but dont underestimate the class and judgement of middle America.
What do you think disrupted the momentum ?
Bristol being pregnant ? a 17 year old girl being pregnant. like that has never happened before. gee money. Americans dont base their votes on this stuff.
“What do you think disrupted the momentum ?’
The unmitigated drive-by attacks of the past 72 hours. This is the lowest the MSM has gone- which isnt a real surprise-it’s gotten dirtier with each election.
It may have been a stroke of luck that it happened on a holiday weekend when a lot of people were traveling and out and about (though for those on car trips, i am sure it dominated newsradio).
You dont think most Americans have the MSM figured out ?
I was thinking on Friday that Palin would give McCain a pre convention bounce. Now I dont know what to think.
8:15 p.m. - SPEAKER: President/CEO Raza Development Fund Tommy Espinoza
SPIT
“You dont think most Americans have the MSM figured out?”
My honest assessment is that only about 40-50% have it figured out. The rest are sheeple.
