Let's see if things start to get back to normal now. Not much of a scheduel at all at the GOP site. I am sure they are put things in line as fast as they can.
what a strange political universe it's become
i woulda never envisioned all this back in the 70s as a teen...there was no political correctness then
Lieberman isn’t speaking to the Free Republic audience. He is speaking to Independents and Democrats. He is doing very well, and got some very good marks from the commentators.
Thanks ... he got scared off ... no backup.
People, please tell me anyone would be watching this on MSNBC or CNN if you can watch it on Fox, or Cspan?
Well, I don't imagine your sister sent you the complete segment, which puts Governor Palin's comments in context.
She asked the question about what a VP does, because she wants a VP to be actually able to do something. Not just be a figurehead. IMO, it was also done in Sarah's humorous way.
The entire quote about 2:50 minutes in:

Let me know what you think!
I can’t wait to hear Rudy.
That's a great picture. That has to be shot with a wide angle (~20mm) lens with a wide open aperture. In order to get it, the subject must have just about been punching the lens, held right up against the hand.
Of course, it's a horrible scene. But a great photograph.
It darn well better - I think the history of our country is riding on that speech. I have faith though that Governor Palin will pull through.
The key thing is that the speech will have to walk a fine line - she has to throw down the gauntlet to the scummy MSM & the Left, and feed the audience red meat - but she can't waste time trying to close down the idiotic (non) "scandals". Never forget what Lee Atwater said - "If you're explaining, you're losing."
Hey, I'm sure there's a whole cottage industry of websites dedicated solely to that niche.
Or so I've heard.
All I'm saying is, "don't knock it 'till you tried it."
What an election season...up is down...
I would rather say truth is made, real people thoughts and beliefs unveiled in front of tough choices in troubled times
Roger that
Every Tuesday evening, members of our Parish come together for a novena, It is a devotion consisting of prayer asking to obtain special graces. It consist of reading through small prayer books, recitation of the Rosary, prayers and singing.
After Novena, we gather together and read the scriptures for the next Sunday. Fr. explains the historical background of the reading and then we talk about what the passage means.
I am not sure it was actually Mother Teresa, is that so? I knew the basic story.
