The instant McCain announced Palin as his VP pick, there was a mad rush to Alaska by media ‘reporters’ eager to get any ‘scandal’ news they could to rush back to their home offices.
Since it was no big secret, they did find something, just like the TROOPERGATE incident.
Palin disclosed, (and had prior to her VP announcement) all the details of the TROOPER she had fired.
And she had d*mn good reason. And he was an in-law.
