I must've struck a nerve with you Arthur, for you so be so insulting and taking words out of context. Or perhaps you are like the liberal McCain normally, using insults in lieu of intelligent discourse. Yes, I think Palin is a lousy parent. Good parents don't put their careers first, uproot the family, and put their children in the spotlight so others can discuss their problems at a particularly stressful time in their lives. But many politicians are lousy parents. They don't get where they are by working 9-5 and going to soccer games on the weekend. It won't decide my vote, but I'm not putting blinders on to ignore it either. I don't know her stances on national issues. Apparently, that doesn't matter to you. But it does to me. If she's for amnesty and changes her mind on drilling in ANWR to match McCain, I may not back her. How often does a VP differ from their President? Never is the answer. They are a united front. Either she will become more liberal or McCain will become more conservative. Since I don't know which it will be, I'm waiting for the debates.

“I think she’s a lousy parent, but many good politicians have been lousy parents.”

I think I have the context about right. I think you’re trying to Bork Palin because you think she might be for open borders. I think this is just a political football. If you’re concerned about open borders, I can respect that. But I don’t respect these cheap shots at Palin.

Well I don't know if you've noticed this here situation we have CottonBall, but there are 2 choices.

1.OsamaObama
2.McCain

Pick one--'cause there ain't no viable #3!!!!

You can whine. You can gripe. You can cry--all. day. long. But one of them is going to win. Sorry your guy wasn't picked (well not really)

Choosing to sit home or vote for a "protest" candidate will give the advantage to the RATS. But it's fairly clear that some people are more interested in the advancement of their own personal agenda.
