I think I need to join the church a lot of these people go to. You can do any darn thing you please as long as you are sorry afterwords.
Better yet, you could covert to Islam... where you'll receive a complimentary 50-pound bag of stones, perfect for dealing with just this sort of thing.
Yes, all those silly people who believe the words of Jesus that He will forgive all who ask for forgiveness.
Rarely have I seen such pretentious self-rightousness as I have on this thread. Did you know that some right here on FR have the power and authority to judge who has committed sin? Why, they are way ahead of Obama, they are indeed anointed.
Sex before marriage is the norm not the exception. Sex between teenagers is extremely common. At one time, in this very Country, teenagers getting married, having sex and raising children was quite acceptable.
It appears that good people are happy about a new, unique, priceless life addition to their family. It also appears that this child will grow up with an abundance of love.
I smile at God's plan.

OK, Palin’s daughter should confess she is damned. Of course then she might as well commit any sin she would like. Would that make you happy?
Obviously the church you go to allows you to be condescending and judgemental and back biting gossips. I am sure that is a lovely fellowship of hypocrites. You act as if you have never sinned.
All due respect, but you DO go to one of those churches. If you knew the private struggles churchgoers deal with and talk to their pastors about you’d fall over in shock.
Everyone sins/ makes mistakes, God explicitly tells us this, it’s what one does about the sin/mistake that determines one’s character.
Barack Obama made clear that if his daughter “made a mistake” he wouldn’t want to see her “punished with a baby”.
Sarah delights in her grandchild and supports her daughter when many people in public office would do whatever necessary for political expediency. It’s a comparison we should welcome.
This is not only the refreshing, TRUE change Sarah brings to the ticket but in loving her daughter she is proving to be an example that many in this country need if the traditional family is to survive this celebrity obsessed culture.
