It all depends if your primary issue is life of the baby or shaming girls into not having premarital sex.

If its the former, then the shaming they are going to get is going to diminish the likelihood they will keep the baby.

If its the latter then you will reduce the number of babies generated via abstinence, but also drive some babies that might have been kept into the death chamber.

This is real as opposed to abstract dogma.

While I oppose teenage pre-marital sex, babies lives are more important and thus the shaming tool is not useful.

Problem is that you are going off dogma and thus have avoided the issue of which one is more important to you. So you can have your cake and eat it too and feel pretty pure.
