ST. PAUL -- The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

I’ll assume that you’re a voice of this internet only political party you’re advertising for, and that it takes great joy in unwanted pregnancies within families of their political opponents.
You can assume that I can’t stand McCain. You can assume I’m not voting for him. You can assume I think Palin was a marginal pick, though I think she has a bright future. And you can assume I won’t ever vote for a candidate that believes in the fairy tale called global warming or believes in granting Amnesty to millions of invaders. In other words, I’m a conservative, not a GOP cheerleader.

Further, I assume you have no difficulty with understanding plain English.
Given your post, I assume you do.
I’ll also assume that youre a voice of this internet only political party youre advertising for, and that it takes great joy in unwanted pregnancies within families of their political opponents.
I take no joy or sorrow regarding Palin being an expectant grandma. And I don’t think FALCON is going to stake out a position on politicians’ family affairs. But shoot them an email and ask them if you want to know.
“I take no joy or sorrow...”
See post 4.
I don’t need to “see” it. I wrote it.
Carry on!
You have proved once again the truth of your tagline (or at least the last three words).
The best evidence of winning an argument is when the other guy resorts to gross ad hominem attacks.
We don’t advise adoptions, we are an adoption agency, so anyone who walks in the door has already pretty much made up their mind.
We are simply facilitators to get birth parents and adoptive parents together.
Of course, and certainly with the publicity here, adoption really wouldn’t be an option.
I was just questioning the word sickening. While I don’t agree with single parenthood, I don’t think it’s “sickening”. The word seemed a bit out of place, IMO.
I don’t think anyone here is talking forced adoption.
I was stating my opinion, and seeking to understand a certain resistance to adoption. I have heard that anger and suspicion before and I truly want to understand. I was hoping someone here could help.
Oh yes she did need the baby’s father’s signature to put the baby up for adoption in WA state. I know because I didn’t believe it when she told me, so I made the phone call for her. No father’s signature, no adoption, that’s what I was told.
In fact I imagine he approved of birth control and was in favor of it being a legal right everywhere.
What else could be more plain?

He was just kidding wasn't he?
Further, the passage you're quoting comes after, and in the context of, moral law. You're quoting paragraph 14. Paragraphs 1-13 set forth a discussion about moral law.
Those paragraphs of Humanae Vitae are NOT a discussion of what civil law SHOULD BE, but rather an exposition of how we discern what God's moral law IS.
