When even the most remote mention of Christianity has been rooted out of public schools by the ACLU (e.g. referring to Christmas as “winter holiday”), I fail to understand how CAIR can run an Islamic academy with tax money. There was the same problem in Minneapolis where a substitute teacher blew the whistle on a tax supported Muslim academy as providing nothing more than a wholly Islamic education. Where is the ACLU on this one?

I think it has its roots in the same reason the ACLU has no objections to government provided Korans down at Gitmo, but, woe be the day some one in a government school, student,teacher,staff has-- at his own expense-- a Bible.
