LOL. But “shooting himself with a grenade launcher” makes him sound kind of tough.
The truth: “That’s pretty big talk from a moron who shot a sack of rice with a grenade launcher, peppering his own ass with long-grain ballistic rice and then demanded a Purple Heart for it.”
She has at least as much experience as Obama and better judgement than Biden, who wanted to partition Iraq. Idiot.
Let’s face it, if Obama had run a city, even a small city, much less a state, we would not be on solid ground to tag him as inexperienced. I believe the experience issue in both cases is going to be harped on, but will be insignificant when voters enter the voting booth. Having a son headed to Iraq is precisely the kind of foreign policy experience people will want, besides, how can you simultaneously be an “outsider” and have Washington’s version of foreign policy experience?
I watched MTP late in the day yesterday; in discussing whether Palin is qualified they proved the point in McCain’s “Celebrity” ad. They alluded that Obama is more qualified because he’s had “exposure”. NOT that he’s ever accomplished anything: EXPOSURE! So by their reasoning, Paris Hilton should be on the ticket.
You can say what Kerry said about almost any woman who may be considered for the highest office because most don’t come through a security career. Sarah is no different from Hillary in this case. Nor does Obama have any advantage. Biden is even a greater risk. He got out of going to Vietnam because he coughed and wheezed enough facing the military, they decided he had asthma. But it’s never been seen since. What happens if he’s in charge and Putin invades the Ukraine. Does the old asthma come back? It could be related to a chronic deficiency in guts.
Democratic Sen. John Kerry, however, says Palin ‘does not meet the national security threshold.’
I heard that Bill Clinton’s only national security experience was being head of the national guard in Arkansas which is the same experience Palin has.....CHECKMATE
Here’s some addt’l info on Sarah’s security experience, posted by Morgan yesterday:
Were going to love this one.

Alaska is the first line of defense in our missile interceptor defense system. The 49th Missile Defense Battalion of the Alaska National Guard is the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks. Its on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.
As governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Bidens.
Shes also the commander in chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), a federally recognized militia incorporated into Homeland Securitys counterterrorism plans.
Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire countrys defense. Given Alaskas proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we dont even know about.
According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out. This is a woman used to keeping secrets.
She can be entrusted with our national security, because she already is.

This statement coming from a guy who is supporting a presidential candidate who does not meet the national security threshold.
...negotiated surrender with the enemy, becoming America's first military Traitor since Benedict Arnold. There, that's more descriptive!
Did they? Graham and Pawlenty were both asked about how Palin’s experience qualified her for the presidency. Both refused to answer the question and support the candidate. Istead they tried to turn it around towards Obama’s lack of experience. That’s not supporting Palin, that’s admitting her lack of experience can’t be defended and leaving the issue wide open for attack.
Thank you for the ping. I would like to keep on top of these claims and rumors concerning Sarah Palin. As Laura Bush commented as her opinion of Sarah Palin being VP, Mrs. Bush said it was “terrific” which was my initial reaction.
John Kerry betrayed our military so any criticism he has on Sarah Palin is worthless in my opinion. Kerry has no standing to criticize anyone, ever, concerning the military or our national security. Additionally, every Democrat who opposed and now refuses to acknowledge the success of the ‘surge’ has no standing to comment.
Sarah Palin visited the wounded on her Iraq trip, Obama did not. Sarah Palin understands the threat Iran poses and did not propose sending Iran $2 million after 9/11 because she didn’t know what to do, Senator Biden, you did. Sarah Palin knows gas is a petroleum product, Speaker Pelosi, you don’t.
This morning I heard Republican Governor of Mississippi, Haley Barbour complimenting Sarah Palin, calling her an EXPERRT on energy issues. Governor Palin does not simply give lip service (just words) on providing energy, she has put together a new pipeline to run gas from Alaska to the lower 48 states. Obama or Biden have no experience in providing needed energy, other than “just words.”
I dread the Democrat rumor mill and attack machine I know will be directed at the entire Palin family, but I will keep the faith that Sarah and family can handle it. After all, it was Sarah Palin who suggested Hillary stop whining over tough elections. Sarah said “that’s the way it is” so deal with it.
I realize the VP follows the lead of our presidential nominee, but McCain is going to have to hustle to keep up with Sarah Palin.
Neat information! Thanks!
Democratic Sen. John Kerry, however, says Palin ‘does not meet the national security threshold.’
Meanwhile behind the scenes candidate Obama reprimands John ‘don’t call me swiftboated’ Kerry for making boomerang statements to the Press.
They're also going to look at the treatment Hillary was given, and how, within 24 hours of being named, the Democrat slime machine dredged up some of the foulest anti-woman garbage in American politics since Andy Jackson fought duels over it. And they're going to wonder, John, they're going to wonder which side has the candidate and which side has nothing but mouth. But after this weekend they're not going to wonder very long.
