GOP politicians hit the airwaves to laud the 'bold choice' by McCain, who calls Palin 'soul mate.' Democratic Sen. John Kerry, however, says Palin 'does not meet the national security threshold.'
Republicans, led by their expected presidential nominee, took to the airwaves today to defend the credentials of Sarah Palin, the first-term governor of Alaska and the surprise choice to run for vice president.
While Palin campaigned with John McCain, Republican politicians, including those passed over for the vice presidential spot, appeared on the Sunday talk shows to discuss Palin, an unknown in national politics until just days ago.

Democratic Sen. John Kerry, however, says Palin 'does not meet the national security threshold.' That's pretty big talk from a moron who shot himself in the ass with a grenade launcher and then accepted a Purple Heart for it.

Just a thought but can these Democrats actually get any dumber then they are right now?
How in the wide wide world of sports does it make any sense for them to question a Vice President candidates national security threshold when their candidate for President has less of a national security threshold then that person?
It begs the question. Are they really that stupid or is it just they beleive you the American citizne is that stupid?

State of Alaska - Office of Homeland Security
Welcome to the Office of Homeland Security Website Mission Statement The mission of the Office of Homeland Security is to be the single, Statewide focal point for coordinating the State's efforts to prevent terrorist attacks, reduce Alaska's vulnerability to terrorism, and minimize the loss of life or damage to critical infrastructure, and recover from attacks if they occur.[snip]As an example, the Governor's Homeland Security Task Force has merged with the federal Anti-Terrorism Task Force to form the Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council with a broad spectrum of members from Federal, State, and local agencies as well as members of business and industry.
On the other hand Jim McGreevey, the Democratic ex-Governor of NJ who made his Israeli lover the head of NJ's homeland security, was a real joke.

Seriously. A real journalist would have immediately asked that windbag Kerry how Edwards was more qualified than Palin.
It's clear Obama was caught totally off-guard by the Sarah selection, and that is extremely un-presidential. If he can't come up with better questions than this he is going down big time. On the other hand, McCain's team has been super prompt with stinging response ads at every opportunity. To be honest, I've been of the view that McCain is not that sharp, but am revising upward. This last week he's made all the right moves...A+.
