Video of Sarah Heath (now Palin) as a Sportscaster
... The online Obama backers are also just curious, trying to answer for themselves the question, "Who is Sarah Palin?" And so this morning in my inbox there was the above video clip, courtesy of "JoeJoeJoe," a frequent commenter on political blogs, that was earlier uploaded on the YouTube account of "barackobamaworld," a YouTube user who says she is based in Taiwan and is an "American Canadian and Taiwanese citizen" who is eligible to vote.
The video, of Palin (then Sarah Heath) as a sportscaster giving the news on the Iditarod and college basketball games, is neither here nor there politically. But it is of biographical interest, helping to fill in the picture of a life about which little is yet know. It shows that she has 20 years of familiarity with being in front of the camera -- which is more than many first term governors have -- and also that, like Obama, she knows her basketball. And also, like Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and millions of now middle-aged women, she once had herself some serious '80s hair.

50 times better.
And also, like Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and millions of now middle-aged women, she once had herself some serious '80s hair.
Sarah Palin is following in Reagan’s footsteps. It’s so cool!
Hey it was 1988 she was 24 and she was on camera, writing her own material, delivering it in a knowledgeable and engaging manner. The haloed one can’t go 60 seconds extemporaneously withou filling the air with uhhs and duhs and errs. If the Obamabots want to go after Sarah-cuda with this bring it on.
I can’t remember any pics of Hillary with big hair. Didn’t she waer hair limp with a headband?
waer = wear
Sarah did a great job calling the b-ball highlights. I love a sports chick. What guy doesn’t? McCain will rock the male vote on Nov 4th.
"I guess that was your accomplice in the wood chipper. ...And those three people in Brainerd. ...And for what? For a little bit of money. There's more to life than money, you know. Don't you know that?... And here ya are, and it's a beautiful day..."
