Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has exactly the high energy, political toughness, and conservative reform message that would boost Sen. John McCains presidential run if Big Mac were to put her on the ticket. In an interview last evening on CNBC, Palin was very clear on her drill, drill, drill message for Alaska and the rest of the U.S., along with her strong supply-side tax-cutting and free-market economic views. She did not shirk from questions about an investigation of her firing the states safety commissioner. She told us she has nothing to hide let them bring it on.
Palin is dealing with Alaskas culture of corruption by supporting all manner of reform and investigation. She basically dissed Ted Stevens, calling him a distraction. She then talked about cleansing the Republican party of all the pork-barrel corruption that cost it the congressional election of November 2006.
Palins response to all the vice-presidential talk is fascinating. It was a point of view I have never heard before and it underscored her independence. I have interviewed all the veep prospects, and I still have Gov. Palin at the top of my list.
I hope readers will enjoy this interview:
Kudlow: All right, now were pleased to welcome back to the program the much talked about rising Republican star Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin. Welcome back Governor.
Palin: Thank you so much Larry.
Kudlow: Heres the bad news. The Congress is going to take their summer recess without a vote not even a vote on rolling back the moratorium on drilling onshore and offshore. Not even a vote. Nothing on ANWR. Nothing on shale. Nothing on the Outer Continental Shelf. Whats your reaction to this?

Ok ok let’s see...without reading the interview I’m going to take my guess.
Q: Congress isn’t even going to take a vote on drilling. What’s your reaction to this?
A: Hang them.
LOL!
Obama wants to raise taxes and kill babies.
Palin wants to raise babies and kill taxes.
Sarah Palin is just amazing!
Close.... very close.
As the woman says... cool. ;-)
When I listened to her while she was in Canton accepting the VP nomination, her accent was unfamiliar to me.
It was kind of interesting, in a good way. It really made her sound excited and enthusiastic! I think I'm going to like her!
That was a great interview. She answers the questions clearly and concisely. No hemming and hawing. I think she will do a great job in the debates.
There are two things the dimwits will take from this and that’s that Palin states McCain is narrow minded and the GOP is corrupt.
1)- For the first time in 24 years of marriage, I have seen wife Miss Emily ( a former New Deal Democrat... ) actually enthused over a candidate- enough to send her money.
2)- For the first time since the 2006 election debacle, I'm running a live thread- everything I can find on Sarah Palin, constantly updated with links, graphics, and quips-- click the picture:
Sarah Palin- links, from the beginning
“There are two things the dimwits will take from this and thats that Palin states McCain is narrow minded and the GOP is corrupt.”
Well, narrow minded in relation to ANWR, but she also praised his change in stance on offshore drilling. As far as GOP corruption, everyone knows there are many corrupt politicians, at least she worked to clean things up (hence the firing investigation). Do you think Obama or Biden would admit their is corruption in their party? Her honesty is refreshing.
Maybe you should read the interview instead.
She answers every question, not just dances around the issues.
The more I see and hear, the more I like.

STOLEN!
Hang on, you have inspired me!
:)
What a gorgeous family. My goodness, does it really get any better than that?
