“Sarah Palin Is Not a Stand-In for Hillary Clinton”
For one thing, Hillary isn’t commander in chief of the Alaska National Guard, which contains the 49th Missile Defense Battalion, the unit that protects the entire nation from ballistic missile attacks.
As Governor of Alaska, Palin is briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counterterrorism. Her exposure to classified material may rival even Biden’s.
She’s also the commander-in-chief of the Alaska State Defense Force (ASDF), which is federally recognized and incorporated into Homeland Security’s counterterrorism plans.
Palin is privy to military and intelligence secrets that are vital to the entire country’s defense. Given Alaska’s proximity to Russia, she may have security clearances we don’t even know about.
According to the Washington Post, she first met with McCain in February, but nobody ever found out.
This is a woman who can be trusted with the nation’s defense.
Perfect.
Susan Estrich is married?
I have always thought she was gay or shunned - there certainly has to be some reason for her determined unhappiness with life !!
For contented/happily married men like me, I love Sarah because she's so much like my wife. They're both women who have proven they can do it all. My better half was a bit surprised when I told her that. I also told her she needs to find a recipe for moose stew.
For divorced men, Hillary reminds them of their ex-wives.
The sexism and downright vitriol coming from the Democrats is going to cost them in November.
The Senate is like a British gentleman's club where old geezers sit around sipping brandy and lying to each other. Hillary's only challenge now is to try to ace Harry Reid out as leader of this incestuous, ossified assembly.
Likewise, her aging acolyte, Ostrich, now faces a future of trying desperately to stay relevant, interesting and botoxed enough to remain on TV as a Fox political contributor.
Time......the enemy of marxist women everywhere.

Well said. And I love your tagline. It's a real shame Mr. Snow isn't here to enjoy Gov. Palin's explosive emergence onto the national scene.
I wasn't there, but if I were I'd have booed until hoarse. There is no way I'm going to bite my lip about that lying, corrupt, disgraceful woman and her impeached rapist of a husband so that some extremely misled voters who don't share my values might vote the way I will.
I know a bit about missile defense, and your post is an excellent one. I hadn’t really made the connection between that and Gov. Palin’s commanding of the state’s national guard. It’s a strong selling point that the McCain camp would be wise to feature (if it hasn’t already).
.....Women are not fungible.....
After seeing the Palin resume and that of Hilary, it calls into question the definition of a woman. It can be argued that while Hillary is female, she comes up very short of being a woman.
She shunned and berated womanly things in favor of being manly.
more sore loserman antics.
McCain needs to come out with an ad showing Obama condemning Biden and vice versa and switch back and forth a few times, then end the ad with Obama and Biden standing together.
For divorced men, Hillary reminds them of their ex-wives.

And Palin reminds them of their sweetest dreams.
Es-Strange is right. Palin is no substitute for Hillary.
Palin is vastly superior to Hillary.
I’ll never forget Shrillery crying at a rally after New Hampshire. What a pathetic excuse of a candidate to be CIC. She was literally planning on coasting to the nomination after choosing the safest place to get elected to lead to that scam. Of course, only the Demonrats could put up such an incompetent, dependent old hag. Sarah Palin is a strong woman who would be our equivilent of Margaret Thatcher. No Shrillery comparisons need apply.
Good stuff to know. Thanks.
I forgot to mention that Alaska’s 49th Missile Defense Battalion is on permanent active duty, unlike other Guard units.
So when some jackass tries to tell you that being commander in chief of the state’s National Guard is no biggie because all governors are, ask them how many Guard units are part of the missile defense shield and are on permanent active duty.
Exactly,,,,the actual point is that many women who voted for Hillary were not huge Democrat, pro-abortion types..they were women who truly wanted to see a woman on the ticket and were inspired to support her. Estrich is right that the hard-core dems will not go for a Republican, Palin or not....but there will be a percentage of liberal Republicans and conservative Dems who would have voted for Hillary and will now vote for McCain. Even if it is only 1 out of 4, it’ll be enough
