McCain is as much an American "hero" as Benedict Arnold was after he attempted to betray his side to British forces.

That is, unless you consider his support for giving amnesty (and voting rights!) to tens of millions of illegal aliens (who will more or less vote Democrat), for the implementation of a carbon cap-and-trade system that would effectively strangle the U.S. economy to death, and countless other liberal-Socialist ("maverick") ideas.

Oh wait, I forgot. You were drunk on Kool-Aid, and to you, McCain is the savior of conservatism and the American way.
