Well, excuse me for posting a quote from McCain on today's talk show (subject of thread).

First off, read a newspaper. McCain is the Republican nominee. Did you know that? How does your criticism of McCain help anything but your ego?
Second. Look it up: McCain has an 83 percent lifetime ACU rating. So I say again. McCAIN IS AN 80 PERCENT CONSERVATIVE. He’s not perfect. No one is. And just because some anonymous screen name (such as yourself) disagrees with some of McCain’s votes or positions, doesn’t make him any less conservative.

I donated to McCain campaign last night but made it clear why. In the box "who referred you", I entered "Sarah Palin." If anyone reads that box, they'll get the message why I am supporting him even though lots of conservatives disagree with some of the positions. I'm not drinking too much of the Kool Aid but Palin's selection has made it much sweeter.
