OOOOOOHHHHHHHHH Doris Kearns Goodwin, the objective historian.
IOW, plagiariss united.
Obama stole from Duval Patrick
Biden stole from everyone
Doris Kearns Goodwin stole from other authors
Even though the rats would like to see her go away we are still celebrating The Palin Experience that shut down the rats after they put on the biggest celebration they could.
Amazing what a lovely woman with an all American family can do. She may well be the female modern day version of RR that we have all been looking for.
Other than the storms it's a great week to be an American. Phsstpok sends his regards to all.
Um, where’s Gov. Palin?
Of course, the convention is a formality, so it could just turn into a huge conference call and be done in one day. Then everybody could go to the Minnesota State Fair and eat cheese curds and lutefisk.
But I don't think the media would have accepted the idea of canceling the Sermon from the top of Mount Hubris if the storm had come in a week earlier. After all, humanity has not seen that scale of political event since Nuremberg in the 1930's, and the media would have felt cheated if it had been interrupted in any way.
Thanks AB
Republicans on the Sunday shows? My head is spinning.
For down times, here are a couple of videos to see Sarah Palin in action.

hunting?
Good question. The DNC/Driveby’s are now stating, and I quote, “She’s never even been on Meet the Press.”
Well, Tom, now’s your chance. Book her on your show!
Oh wait, Keith said “No f’n way!” And you know you must obey the new leader of NBC, Keith Olbermann.
What speech?
I think the best thing the Republicans can do is assemble a quorum, get through the business side of the convention by a voice vote, nominate John and Sara by acclamation, and say “Okay, let’s get to work raising money for the states hit by Gustav.” They can keep the convention open for 4 days and still get the message through.
For those that might have missed it!

Democrat Leaders caught yucking it up and laughing that Gustav was going to hit New Orleans and Mississippi! Video at link! Please pass it on to everyone you know...call your local press! This is outrageous and EVIL!

Scholars question Palin credentials
By FRED BARBASH & DAVID MARK | 8/30/08 9:16 PM EST Updated: 8/30/08 9:16 PM EST
UPDATE: After reading this article, the McCain campaign issued the following statement: “The authors quote four scholars attacking Gov. Palin’s fitness for the office of vice president. Among them, David Kennedy is a maxed-out Obama donor, Joel Goldstein is also an Obama donor, and Doris Kearns Goodwin has donated exclusively to Democrats this cycle. Finally, Matthew Dallek is a former speech writer for Dick Gephardt. This is not a story about scholars questioning Gov. Palin’s credentials so much as partisan Democrats who would find a reason to disqualify or discount any nominee put forward by Sen. McCain.”
Sarah Palin is the greatest thing to happen to the Republican party since Ronald Reagan.
FNC has some Alaska talk radio hostess saying mostly Republicans hate her in Alaska.
Saying Palin is socialist and liberal.
talk show lady said she is progressive.
Palin is a liberal? where? abortion? traditional marriage? gun control?
I think the talking point fax has been lost.
So far
Palin is Quayle
Palin is inexperienced
Palin is Jimmy Carter
Palin is Obama
Palin is forest gump
Palin is a liberal
there has to be something adrift in the obama rapid smear machine
To that end, Phsstpok sends us two links this morning:
QUOTE//// Im not jumping back into the fray yet, but heres Politicos Sunday Show Tip Sheet (all but CNN dominated by McCain and his surrogates).
Well have to see if the lefty nut jobs can succeed in painting Palin as worse than Dan Quayle, but its clear from their hysterical over reaction that theyre panicked. Lots of good posts at Townhall, NRO, etc. blowing the lefty lies out of the water. Flopping Aces has a great one on the trooper scandal the Obamabots are pushing.
I think shes terrific. She should start carrying around something like Glenn Becks pitchfork as a symbol of how she and McCain are going to clean out the muck in Washington. ////ENDQUOTE
Don’t cancel.
Instead, have a WORKING CONVENTION in which people from Louisiana, Texas, etc - or from FEMA - are shuttled back and forth as necessary so they can do what they have to do.
Delegates from Louisiana, Texas could vote from “home” if necessary, and John McCain and Sarah Palin could do several remotes from the hurricane area.
This hurricane, in fact, could show the country how dedicated and professional the team of McCain/Palin will be in the White House.
