Looks like we have headed off the rat stream media once more.

2 hours of MSNBC storm chasing to avoid reality, Obama/Biden is troubled
OMG thats mr. salmon!
Thank you!
Yep. In a baseball analogy, they 've been caught looking. Curveball, changeup, knuckleball, the Dem's were befuddled, stymied, called out on strikes.
Now they're essentially thrashing around in the dugout, throwing a temper tantrum.
The people that tried to stay positive or head off the ungly invective at DU were getting the granite cookie a.k.a. the Tombstone.
Kerry was out of touch in 2004 and he remains asleep to issues today.
Kerry is a disgrace to the name US Senator.
Yes, if speeches are more than “just words”, let’s see him stop Gustav with a speech.
I think he could do it if he wanted, but he just just likes to see people suffer so they clamor for more government.
</s, of course>
My sense, however, is she already knows how to handle these cheap shots. She wreaks of common sense. And no matter what they dredge from the depths she is exceedlingly likeable, which makes her gold.
Palin's choice is tantamount to a walkoff home run. Election is over. I'm ecstatic, over the moon, and a new McCain contributor. Never thought that would happen.
Is this another gratuitous, mean-spirited, attack on UberFReeper?
WHAT a hot picture!!!
Mike started to get into it with the actual blame for Katrina: Nagin and the busses, and Rat governor sat on her hands for two day and feds, by law, couldn’t step in without being asked.
That is my understanding too but I have not found a source yet. I will.
I would guess she is also very involved with Russia as to violations of coastal waters, and she is working with Homeland Security because of the ocean there. Just as every state with ports and on the oceans.
It’s a bit different than Illinois or Delaware. Not many Russian ships in the Great Lakes.
Here is the real “story” about the incident with the trooper.
Please pass this to everyone you know to blunt the attempt to make this what it isn’t.
Here is the “scandal” they are referring to:
Claim: “Palin used her position as Governor to get back at the man whom her sister was divorcing, and fired the man who refused to fire her sister’s ex-husband”.
This is the slimiest attack that the Democrats and the media will launch. It concerns a current investigation into allegations that Governor Palin fired former Alaskan Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan because he would not bend to her will.
When Palin fired Monegan, her office gave no reason for her decision. As the Commissioner serves at the discretion of the Governor, no reason is needed. In an effort to save his job and get back at the person who fired him, Monegan claimed that he was fired because he would not fire an Alaskan State Trooper, Michael Wooten, who was going through a messy divorce with Palin’s sister. Recently, the Associated Press ran an article about some tapes that surfaced regarding phone calls made by some of Palin’s staff worried about Wooten - and worried about the safety of the Palin family:
Quote
Quote:
JUNEAU, Alaska - Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday said at least two dozens calls were made from her staff members to Department of Public Safety officials questioning the employment of a trooper who went through a messy divorce with Palin’s sister.
But Palin maintained none was done at her direction, a claim backed up by one administration member caught on tape.
...The Palins have accused Wooten of drunken driving, illegal hunting and firing a Taser at his 11-year-old stepson, Palin’s nephew. These allegations led to an internal investigation, which occurred before she ran for governor.
Todd Palin has said the family was concerned about the governor’s safety, claiming Wooten threatened to kill Sarah Palin’s father and made vague threats to her. Todd Palin has said he took concerns about Wooten directly to Monegan.

If it were up to Doris Kearns Goodwin, we would preserve the bodies of LBJ and FDR and put them in glass coffins in a shrine in the Capitol Mall. All Americans would be forced to make an annual pilgrimage to DC to line up and pay their respects.
I see that a certain someone is trying to start another fight.
And she knows how to use it. It’s a far cry from Kerry carrying a shot gun around, and is a contrast to gun control nuts like Obama and Biden.
Thanks for the new tag line...
