Good point! At the very least we should have film of the actual territory under discussion. That way folks could see that it’s a flat plain - no mountains, no cute animals, no beautiful scenery to be protected. Even though it would be, with current drilling technology available!

It’s only logical to support McCain at this point, 1. he cuts pork barrel spending, 2. he brings the Troops home with honor of a war being won, not the shishta of ‘no wmd’ when 500 tons of Yellow Cake uranium was just sent to Canada, 3. satisfaction of giving the MSM the candidate they wanted for me, it feels like many more years of Bush to them, 4. real fiscal conservatism represented by Palin
OTOH he has a history of brain aneurysms which could have that effect as well. Either way, he's a mess, but I really don't want him replaced as I think he's the perfect punching bag.

Life has no guarantees. Still, it’s reported the reason Pat Buchanon supported Sarah Palin was because he believed she supported his position on immigration. Sarah Palin will still most likely fall inline with John McCain on this but it gives me hope she is not an amnesty first governor.
Best guess is Sarah Palin is an open book but wants to follow the constitution. Her personal beliefs are probably very conservative.
If she is like me, I oppose amnesty but I wish there were a way to not punish “some” illegal aliens who have otherwise followed all our laws and support our institutions. Mike Pense has a program that makes a lot of sense but I would like to see something more solid that everyone could agree on.

I’m done. Fortunately most people have left this thread I plan on seeing what else has happened today, having spent way too much time here. Still, I am happy we went over 1000 posts because is shows people are reading and posting on this thread.

dnCat got your tongue? Lets talk Conservative issues. You dare to compare McCain to Benedict Arnold?? Do you know why he can’t lift his arms above his shoulders? When he was shot down by one of the missles he was trying to destroy since he was a weasle hunter, he broke both of his arms.
They used those arms to put a 4x4 behind his back and hung him for days with his arms behind the 4x4. Very effective for getting information by hanging you almost like a crucifiction. Unfortunately for John it ruined his shoulders and his arms are permanently disabled.
I may have never liked McCain, but I never lost respect for his courage and his honor for his Country. You should be ashamed of yourself for even going there, comparing him to Benedict Arnold and dismissing his valor. Only a Rat would do that, or a plant. Which you most likely are.
