I was not going to vote for McCain, Palin changed that! I contributed to the ticket last night and I will work locally to get the ticket elected. McCain's judgment to pick her has made a firm supporter of me!

Four years of McCain followed by eight more of Palin (and possibly a VP like Bobby Jindal or Eric Cantor) will be perfect!

consider how FAST the conservatives have coalesced.
Moral certainty means you don’t have to heard the cats of victim group agendas.
no moral relativism to agree to disagee to give faux patriotic verbiage.
This is right, this is wrong. Mr. and Mrs. America know this is right because it puts the nation in the right direction based on a belief of a right and wrong. There is no need for moral realitive negotiation.

I think a lot of us feel this way. I know I do. I at first said " no way"!! I would be joining the third party this year. Then came Obama! Johnny boy began to look better and better in comparison...then the interview at Saddleback put him even closer to what I would vote for...
After yesterday's pick of Sarah Palin, I not only am voting for the GOP ticket I do so with gusto and enthusiasm...so I do believe you are right! A lot of us that said no way, are saying YES YES YES!!!!!!

YES PLEASE
The supreme court would be a dream by then.
Get rid of these liberal policies like affirmative action.
This will be my first presidential election I can vote as I became American two years ago.
I wasn’t that happy but now I am ecstatic and my wife too
even seeing the libs squirm is great, notice how Obama had to change his talk first puts her down and then praises her
The question is
Michelle Obama are you proud of the country this time now a woman is on the ticket???
Please let a journo ask her that

Dr. Dobson has just removed himself from any last vestige of respect I might have had for him, as have many more FReepers. It astounds me how quickly the morally absolute, or at least, seemingly resolute, can so quickly become the morally vacuous.
*Nothing* has changed. That which was against you is still against you. It has just changed it's clothes.

I Agree “ Thank you, Dr. Dobson.” McCain just picked up 15 million votes with that endorsment. She is a classy lady.

Palin has two sons (Track, 19; and Trig, four months) and three daughters (Bristol, 17; Willow, 14; and Piper, 7)

Boy, aint’ that the truth? I campaigned ferociously for Ronald Reagan and will always hold him up as my hero.
But with President GW Bush I had to “hold my nose and vote” as my girlfriend put it.
I never trusted “compassionate conservatism.” I ended up admiring Bush a lot, especially in Pro-Life matters, but man, has he let the base down, big-time.

Dobson's still a jerk.
Three words: Got that right.
Seriously, there seemed to be plenty momentum coming around just from the fact of Palin's getting onto the ticket. What real help does Dobson's endorsement carry that way, except to serve as coals to Newcastle?

I figured McCain either scored a touchdown or fumbled the ball on this one. Myself, I believe it is a touchdown and strongly will lean that way. I’m kind of excited myself that I think we have a good chance at stopping “the messiah’s” (Obama’s, /sarc>) express.

All Christians are “jerks,” right?
BTW, Dobson is “endorsing” nobody, as far as I can tell. He’s just acknowledged that he’s planning to *vote* for McCain/Palin.
