But does it really matter?

If nothing else the Palin choice has pushed off the front and editorial pages any real discussion of Obama's speech. Hard to believe, but true!

If they are not Republicans, then they must be Obama supporters. There is no other option in life.

Yep, beginning to see some libertarian leanings here and there all over—the seed is both dormant in many, and recently planted anew in a few others—it will bear fruit.

Given what the Republican party was in Alaska before Mrs. Palin cleaned it up, why WOULD they be registered Republicans? Better to be a free-style voter.

But does it really matter?

Nope. Lots of conservatives are unaffiliated or registered Libertarian.

Besides that though they could be on fire liberals, we aren't casting a ballot for them.

More DNC grasping at straws.

I imagine Palin's son and hubby will be voting Republican this year. ;-)

IIRC, “Independent” is a larger group in Alaska than “Republican” or “Democrat.”

I think this helps Palin with independents.

Her husband is a member of the United Steelworkers Union. if he wants union work, it’s not a good idea to be a registered Republican.

The corruption connected with some of the Republican leadership in Alaska might be one reason father and son decided to not be part of the GOP there. Also remember, the Alaska GOP did not support Sarah Palin, preferring incumbent crooks.

I consider that a sound reason for the men to not join the Alaska GOP. All of us claim to be conservative first and Republicans second, as we rail against RINO’s. If nothing else, the Palin’s practiced what they preached by staying away.

Another hit job from the Politico. They could’ve characterized them as “mavericks”. (Who are these clowns?)

Rove licks his whiskers again. Brilliant timing, brilliant VP candidate. Substance trumps style in just the right amount.

If Obama was afraid of Hillary, and he was, just imagine how terrifying Palin looks to him. No woman who listened to her speech yesterday could have any doubt that Sarah would dust the floor with Barak in any match up. “And while you’re at it, zip your parka and close the door on the way out, Barak.” For that matter, she’d dust the floor with the entire CNN newsroom.

She’s formidable.

Oh what fun.

I have not seen such a stinking steaming pile of crap headline get so much circulation since the Bigfoot body found story hit the headlines.

We are talking about declaring yourself undeclared or nonpartisan in a primary. Millions of Republicans do this, and often in protest of having to declare a party in the Primary. Heck I’ve done it.

In some of these 57 united and mythical States there is no personal identification by any political party, eligible people are called voters. Of course, some of these states are often criticized by travelers from far off places like Minnesota, for not having enough laws or taxes. Some of these states wish to remain anonymous.
