Despite the incessantly repeated mantra of "change," Barack Obama's politics is as old as the New Deal...

Wasn't it one of Obama's spiritual fore-fathers (Josef Goebbels I think) who coined the axiom, "Tell the truth long enough and it becomes the truth."?

That has been the Liberal modus operandi for decades.

Sowell nails it again. I like that he isn’t afraid to take shots at one of liberalisms sacred cows, FDR. I also got a new tag line, courtesy of Mr. Sowell

The man is a bastion of truth and respect for clarity in the murky world of politics. If anyone deserves respect for thinking about the common good, he should have a shrine erected in his honor for truth and honesty in thinking.
Too bad for the Democrats that they do not understand or appreciate truth and honesty, because they will never achieve greatness without it.

What is more surprising is that she is an articulate Republican. How many of those have you seen?

Amen, bro.

The man gets it. Dr. Sowell is a brilliant man.

I read this about 20 minutes ago when I saw it posted on the TownHall RSS feed. Cheers

Thanks for the ping, I can’t agree more with Sowell. You never know these days what to expect next. Just when things look the most grim, and you can’t imagine how it can be resolved, some simple twist of fate, changes the dynamics of everything...this is great. I never would have thought of such a solution......

Some people were surprised that his choice was a woman. What is more surprising is that she is an articulate Republican. How many of those have you seen?

Ain't that the truth.
