Obama's Plane Palin Problem

Did the campaign suddenly regret failing to take note of Palin's unique place in American history as the first woman tabbed by the Republican Party as a vice presidential nominee? Did it regret missing an opportunity to tell women (especially Hillary Clinton loyalists) across the country that Palin deserved at least a cursory compliment before being subjected to the natural rough-and-tumble or presidential politics? Did it regret a swift descent into the negative, back-and-forth politics that Obama has so earnestly railed against?
It would appear so.

Ha! The last thing O’s campaign expected was that McCain would pick a female running mate, and their spokesjerks were instructed on what to say when the announcement was made, more of the same, blah, blah, blah, failed policies, blah, blah, blah...
Well, McCain threw ‘em a fast one right over the plate, and it was a swing-and-a-miss! Gotta love it!

That’s true - go to the HC net forum, that about sums them up.
Stupid democrats, burnt by their own penchant for identity politics.

Obama should apologize for the offensive statements about Sarah Palin made by his campaign.
Buy he won’t. He isn’t man enough to do that. It would take a mensch to do that, and Obama is not a mensch.

I was thinking the same thing. First, Obama’s campaign showed a complete lack of class by not first congratulating Gov. Palin (obviously McCain plays by the old classy rules when it comes to etiquette; I guess this is also part of the “change” Obama speaks of) before attacking her. Second, the libs were out in full force today trying to slam this pick down, which makes me believe that they are trying to buy Obama’s camp some time to get the party line formulated before next week's convention. Obviously they didn't see this coming.

So Obama descended from his Greek temple - and went splat on the pavement.
What’s so funny about this is they want to attack her in 1000 different ways, but almost every one of those ways will enrage women. LOL! The field is now seeded with land mines for Obama and I think he’s already stepped on one.

I was watching Special Report as well, and I could not believe the way Mort came out against her. Trust me, I have been watching Fox for many moons now and know which way Mort “dresses” but he is usually somewhat level headed. Not tonight. Juan obviously got smacked down by his liberal masters last night after criticizing the ONE and so I knew he was going to try and diminish her credentials.

Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency. So they expect McCain to win. Interesting.

OK, that makes me feel better. I attended the Springfield event last weekend, and there is no way there was anything close to 35,000 people (the most quoted estimate). It was more like 4000.

Holy cow, I wonder if the Obama campaign pays attention to forums like that. His doom is being played out right there.

"They were able to fill 75,000 in INVESCO Ctr." Actually, the Secret Service estimated the crowd at 84,000.
