Is the new VP Palin different than McCain on Global Warming and Illegal Immigration? I would love to know because it will decide my choice to get actively involved in the McCain's campaign or not.
Thanks,
Kuja
I just overheard a telephone interview she had with Neil Cavuto on Fox last May regarding environmental issues in Alaska. She seriously questioned the computer models used to project global warming data.
I’d say, yes! She does have a different viewpoint.
Illegal immigration from Mexico is probably not Alaska’s #1 priority...
But she is definitely skeptical of global warming and you’d know if you’ve watched cavuto today.
According to her interview on Cavuto recently, she feels that Global Warming is being used by environmental interests to shut down energy development in Alaska...
She is dedicated to conservation, but she appears (IMO)to question the motivations behind the questionable case for Anthropogenic Global Warming.

Sorry to disappoint you but Sarah Palin is against amnesty and for border security.
So be sure to write in a name so Marxist Obama wins.
I’ve been looking about for info on where she stands on illegal immigration. Haven’t found anything yet, but am impressed with her other stands on issues. I’d be really surprised if she got that one wrong, being really conservative (right/correct) on everything else I’ve seen.
That said, I also saw the re-broadcast of the Palin phone interview on Cavuto a few minutes ago and she definitely shot down the bogus data used to project the polar ice cap melting/polar bears drowning/computer projection garbage.
If anyone does find anything about Palin and illegal immigration, please ping me to it! Thanks.
Hi stranger!
It’s been a long time.
I would be surprised if she supports amnesty, as she is a law & order type politician.
Well, hey, you! Good to see you!
She is better than McCain on things most of us here care about, and that's more than just abortion.
WOW is all I can say. I can't wait for the pics of her skinning a moose or something hits the air.
Not helpful. If Palin gets more conservatives to go with McCain, thats a good thing. Leave it at that.
Bobby Jindal is great and exactly where he needs to be right now. In Louisiana. I'm listening to all of these Dem talking heads literally giddy over Hurricane Gustav possibly hitting New Orleans Tuesday morning--how bad Katrina was for Bush, etc. All I gotta say on that one is that Jindal is governor there now, not Blanco, so be careful what you ask for, Dems... you'll see who the problem really was in that catastrophe: Louisiana state government both Blanco and Nagin.
I'm quite optimistic about Palin and would be very surprised if she gets the illegal immigration issue wrong. She seems to govern based on conservative principle, which would stand to reason she gets the amnesty issue right.
.So, back to the Veepstakes. Sarah Palin: I like her. (Producer: Babe) Well, she is. Shes a beautiful woman, but shes also a conservative. Her husband, I think is a shrimper? (pause) Hes a fisherman. Im not kidding you, and they go out and fish on the weekends. Hes a commercial fisherman. Im telling you, I think that sells. That sells a lot more than my friends and comprehensive immigration reform. And shes not for comprehensive reform, I can tell you that right now. Shes sick to death of this immigration nonsense in the United States."[Emphasis added]

Discovery should get him a guest spot on “Dangerous Catch”.
If she is against Shamnesty then she is a winner.
