How the heck is he supposed to make a campaign issue out of Obamas inexperience when hes got a running mate with 2 years as governor of a sparsely populated state while being a full-time mother, um, on the side?
He can't.
He has taken the inexperience issue off the table. He can't criticize Obama's lack of experience when his own #2 has no national experience and only eighteen months in statewide office. She's clearly not ready to be President, so that issue's gone forever.
McCain is clearly gambling two things:
I don't know, seems like a stretch in both cases. It's a gutsy pick on McCain's part, but since it throws away one of his strengths I don't see it as a particularly smart one.
Not at all, because the Republican Veep nominee has the same experience as the Democrat PRESIDENTIAL nominee! I don't think the Obama people ought to be stressing her inexperience; it'll come back to bite them in the butt.
