Did a search but FR slow. Mods please remove if Live thread already started.
When she spoke of her eldest son being in the Army I almost wept because she is proud the way my Mom was proud when I was in the Army so long ago.

Poll time: Are you pumped?
By Michelle Malkin August 29, 2008 01:29 PM
I know a large number of michellemalkin.com readers have shared my deep-seated reservations about John McCain. Those reservations especially regarding border security, the environment, campaign finance, and his Soros flirtations remain. And you know I will not hesitate to pound on them. But the Palin VP choice appears to be a huge step forward for movement conservatism. She is the real deal.
Todays poll question: Are you on board with McCain/Palin?
Are you on board with McCain/Palin?
you are wrong.
10% JUMP in the polls for McCain due to this choice... and that may even be too low a guess.
It is SO exciting indeed. I was so ready to be depressed all Labor Day weekend...I have learned my lesson. Drama queen no more! I’m going to make my second donation today...I really can’t wait to wear my button around the city.
She has more executive experience than anyone else on either ticket. Period!
ROFL- a caller on Rush just said “ For the first time in years, I’m proud to be a Republican”....
BEST COMMENT of the DAY!!!!
Now that, will leave a mark. McCain has some sharp people on his campaign.
None taken. She's a good looking lady, married to a good looking man, and together they have five very good looking kids. The menfolk can "admire" her, and the women can "admire" her hubby.
But going beyond her good looks, I believe she has a brain and common sense, and she isn't afraid to use either of them to kick some corrupt political ass.
Yes, and--if true that the daughter is really pregnant out of wedlock--the Palins would show the traditional way of dealing with these unhappy occurances in a fallen world. The Palins' way of dealing with a pregnant daughter would stand as a huge rebuke to the O-man's, "I don't want to punish my daughter with a baby!" comment.
It's Palin's character that shines through, too. As opposed to the freak show on the other side, Palin is transcendently NORMAL! She's someone you can genuinely admire.
this neutralizes the inexperience message
Well, I suppose it then comes down to do you want an
inexperienced person as President or VP.
I think she will do fine and it is time for the Repubs to break some ceilings.
Also loved how she lauded Ferrarro and Clinton, it put
Hillery! right where she belongs, in the PAST.
The PTA leaders I've run into are FAR from over their heads. They can get things done.
We are so ready to hunt moose!
Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC looks devastated. LOL
Worth a replay!
This is why I’ve been noting for the last week how brilliant a campaign McCain’s staff has been running.
This choice caps it, for sure.
” Gov. Palin (soon VICE PRESIDENT Palin) needs all our female conservative support at this time. The Dems are going to tear her apart, and she cannot wobble.
In those dark hours, after the Dems viciously go after her, her husband, her children, her family, her faith, and her beliefs, she needs to know were here pulling for her.”
She’s got my wife and daughter, so add them to the army.
I and several of my friends are also enthusiastically aboard
to support her and John M.
Unless I am mistaken, that trumps giving a speech to a couple hundred thousand body hygiene challenged Eur-peens by several orders of magnitude.
Here's to your post, FRiend.
Might I add, like Reagan and Cheney—she is an Aquarius!
