Did a search but FR slow. Mods please remove if Live thread already started.
I so, sooooo rarely cry. This has me undone..completely undone.
She’s simply wonderful.
Her son is in the INFANTRY in Iraq! HOOAH!
OMG that woman had an Ohio flag growing out of her eye!
Do not sit on your laurels.. FIGHT! Don't think the left will give up when facing this. They will pull out so much dirt and so many dirty tricks, we need to start fighting now and fight hard. Don't assume this will give us victory. It changes the momentum, but remember we are fighting against the establishment Dem machine who will do anything to win.
SUPERB!!!!!
a Sand Point Idaho girl I just heard from a Idaho caller on the Dennis Miller show... She will chain saw, ride a horse or snowmobile, a tough chick... beauty pageant ... studied communications ... was interested in being a sports announcer... plays hockey... runs marathons... hunts & fishes...
To say nothing about her choosing life for her Downs baby...
Oh, and when CBS news confirmed this with her parents, they found them out caribou hunting, and theres a picture on the web of Sarah with a caribou, too.
I predict a 10% JUMP, not a bounce, for McCain due to this choice.
I’m crying, too, Cinnamon Girl, for what it is worth, listening to her!
Son in the army. Beautiful family. Hockey mom. Energy independence. Told Congress to stick the Bridge to Nowhere. Wow!
Van Palin — Rocks!
“Thanks but no thanks on the bridge to no where” LOL
Could that possibly have any relation to Van Halen playing when they entered the hall?
Yep, that's why they picked the name. I think I read about it earlier in this thread.
This is the first genuine smile I have been able to muster since the primaries began.
She is knocking it out of the park!!!
This is friggin awesome.
I’m recording this for my daughter to see.
Hooah...indeed.
I’m with you. I’ve always liked Mitt. I was rooting for Mitt for the top spot. I’ve been liking Sarah since she was first brought up some months ago on this site, but I didn’t think there was a hope it would actually come about.
I think this is a recognition that there is little bench strength in the pub party and it’s time to start putting some talented Triple-A players in the big league starting lineup. I really, really like that. I don’t think he could have made a better choice, and that gives me a better opinion of his decision making skills, almost a bigger plus than the fact that I like the pick.
And, McCain has some health issues. I’ve been saying all along that this was a very important decision for us, more important than normal, because he could fade healthwise.
Imagine if something happened to Obama — we’d have that grinning jackass in our faces day and night. If something, God Forbid happened to McCain we’d have just the right person at just the right time.
I know liberals are having kittens right now with her pick, now trying to downplay the role of the VP.
Thats pretty weak so he insulted small towns, slammed her for the exact same weakness he has, failed to mention that she is the governor and, therefore, has more executive experience than the entire Dem ticket, chastised her for not killing her own baby, criticized her for turning her state into a surplus, and is far more versed on energy than any other governor in the country wow hes pretty brilliant at this politics stuff
“Thanks but no thanks to that bridge to nowhere.”
She didn’t start the speech great, but she’s getting better with every line. At this point her speech is fantastic. She’ll rock at the convention. And she’s among the best he could have picked. At this point it’s just - Wow!
And, I noticed......NO PANTSUIT!
Phenomenal.
There is steel in this woman. The Democrats underestimate her at their peril.
Best,
Chris
Because it is such a relief!
