If Palin is truly McCain’s pick, not only will women come out in droves to volunteer on his campaign, but (real) men will, too, as they learn more about her, her husband, and their family.
He couldn’t have made a better pick to cause me to get out and work on his campaign. I worked on Romney’s campaign here in Florida and was really disappointed that Huckabee and then Crist conspired to keep Romney from the win. I had hoped that Romney would be the VP choice because he had the second-most votes. Then Wednesday, I thought it might be Pawlenty because of various things I heard, so I reluctantly was ready to accept him if it was true. I wouldn’t have enthusiastically helped in McCain’s campaign though.
Now I will, if Palin is his pick!! Whoo Hoo!! I’ll head straight down to the Republican HDQTRS in Orlando today if it is! (Gotta go down there anyhow to get more McCain stickers as someone tried to scrape mine off the back window of my car already. -They couldn’t get at my “NObama” stickers staring at them through my windshield. I keep my visors down at all times and have those stickers on the back of them facing out. :)
Let it be known, I will not support a "woman" VP just because it is a woman. I want a pro life pick. I want a pro life ticket!
Obama was a BB benchwarmer in HS. Palin was captain and point guard of the state champion team, playing in spite of an ankle stress fracture.
Well said Match...we're on the same page regarding Governor Palin...and most other things.
