That is 'slight experience' if you ask me. I'm not saying that she isn't talented, but she is a risk. The MSM will have no problem in saying that she is 'inexperienced' or 'unproven' at the same time that they overlook Obama's shortcomings. I'm just saying that it takes a weapon away from McCain in the General Election campaign.
As I said in another post -- I'm not all that sure that she attracts the typical female Hillary-voter, either.
The MSM will say those sort of things on any given topic no matter who the pick is. McCain is proving that he is not allowing the MSM to steer his decision process...something that was a big weakness for McCain has become a positive.
Plus, she is not running against Obama...McCain is. No matter what, the American people who aren't Kool Aid drinkers understand that. She is a VP pick for the future of the party.
Brilliant political move...one of the best tactical plays I have seen that also matches up with conservative ideaology. Even Reagan didn't do as well...GHWB was smart tactically but not good for conservatives.
Choosing Governor Palin accomplishes both.
