[Romney is such an obvious choice for victory.]

Which is why the Dems are terrified of him (the same way we feared Hillary as Obama’s pick.)

I’m very, very disappointed. I hadn’t even heard about this guy a month ago, now I read he’s global warming nut and praised Jimmy Carter! I’m done with these guys!

Isn’t this just random people betting on events? I know it takes belief to make people put down money, but I don’t see how it’s a lock unless I am fundamentally misunderstanding how Intrade works.

“In April, Mr. Pawlenty delivered the remarks that probably best reveal his views on the environment. “It looks like we should have listened to President Carter,” he told the Minnesota Climate Change Advisory Group. “He called us to action, and we should have listened. . . . Climate change is real. Human behavior is partly and may be a lot responsible. Those who don’t think so are simply not right. We should not spend time on voices that say it’s not real.””

He’s a nice guy and all but this isn’t a good choice at all. He’s moved far left in the last 3 years. I highly doubt he can carry Minnesota for McCain. One things for sure, he and McCain are 2 peas in a pod.

What a stupid pick. McCain deserves to lose.

Sadly, this can easily be said of the GOP (The Stupid Party) as a whole for nominating Capt. Queeg in the first place.

At least we shouldn't have to hear McLames name in 2012.

You’re obviously only an agitprop since the choice has already been made. When will you dolts realize that no matter how much spittle you sling at moderate John McCain you cannot get Bob’ACLU’Barr elected?

Many ‘conservative’ Freepers believe that electing Obama is actually much better for the conservative moment in the long run.

Intrade would appear to agree with you. McCain's chances went up and down to day with Romney's veep chances.

If it’s Pawlenty then McCain deserves to lose! Picking a guy more boring then himself... Geeeeezzzzz

We were very upset when McCain won this nomination; most of the states didn't even have an opportunity to vote our choice. After weeks of this pure Marxist, we finally decided we had to vote for McCain. Now this is just another kick.

That “we’ll show ‘em” talk is nonsense. The damage done to the country would be breathtaking.

“Get ready for President Obama . McCain is a ******* .”

Agree totally if this is true.

I think we could win with Romney. McCain is so stupid.

I had no idea Pawlenty was such a dingbat on climate change. If he can be that easily sucked in I have no confidence in his ability to lead.

McCain in an easy victory. People do interesting things in the voting booth. McCain is a known commodity. Barry is not.

PS Screw the polls. If we believed them, AlGore would have been president.
