That’s true. I know of a few who were particularly vicious toward Fred and Jeri that were banned. Of course the real serious stuff that they pull (trying to make it look like Romney has a large base, posting coordinated posts to inflate the idea that Romney has a large following) is under the radar and hard to ban someone for. That’s why they get away with it, I guess.

As Rush says, "You never win by losing."

Not true.

There is an old saying, "If you give a fool enough rope, he'll hang himself." If Obama is elected, he'll be a pariah within his own party in two years and a Democrat President won't be elected again for a generation.

Carter was elected in 1976. He cured a lot of people in a single term and it brought us Reagan.

The problem is that this time we lose either way. I could stomach the Republican ticket with McCain and someone as conservative, or preferably more conservative than he as a running mate. Someone like Romney, who is even to McCain's left, pretty much converts me back to not voting for either ticket.

I wasn’t aware that the Democrats had any pariahs. They seem to pay homage to all their own regardless of merit.

I’m not a defeatist believing that Mitt is some sort of savior for the GOP. Mitt is a liberal with baggage who would diminish McCain’s chances of defeating the Manchurian Candidate. McCain has the very real potential to win this election in a landslide to keep a truly disastrous administration from taking office.

In the U.S. Army there is a saying: Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way. I am hoping that Romney sycophants follow the latter advice when approaching this election.

You’ve been reported as being a DU plant with your repetitive anti-Mitt posts lol. Let’s hope this nut gets booted, this @$$ has the audacity like Obama to question other Freepers intentions that have been here way way longer then this nut.

John McCain does not want to be upstaged by Mitt Romney.

There ya go. McCain knew Romney would bring in too big a crowds. This ticket will not get enthusiasm and excitement. And that is what it takes to win. Obama is speaking to 70,000 people and they are going to GOTV. Good luck to McCain.

Oh Manic, not you again. I can only hope that if it is Pawlenty, and he actually gets to be the VP, he shows us that he changed his positions because he wanted to get onto the national stage (like you insinuated to me yesterday) and returns to the Tim Pawlenty that I met many years ago. I for one will vote for a McCain/Pawlenty ticket, but I won’t be knocking on doors or working in the phone bank. Neither one of them inspire.

Romney sycophants have no shame. They are so completely up the rectum of their savior Flip that they are actually rooting for McCain to lose if he does not select their precious.

Sick folks.

That’s cool but you’re a f%$$^% idiot! My 1st and 2nd choice is Palin or Jindal then Mitt. Mitt doesn’t mean anything to me except he is farrrrrrrr better then the Pawlenty I saw on CNN and Fox and Friends. Boring, soft spoken, inarticulate, scrawny looking and no presence at all.

If he can’t excite the base how the F are we going to excite the moonbats we need to win?
