After last night, there should be no doubt in anyones mind that "He, Who's Middle Name Must Never Be Spoken", is a well rehearsed, finely groomed American superstar.
What is the difference between someone like Brittney Spears and BHO? They both came out of nowhere. No one knew anything about them until the train wrecks were in sight. From day one they were told by their handlers what to do or say. How to act, how to respond, all to prefect the desired image. Everything choreographed and timed to make them appear appealing, flawless and charismatic.
Make no doubt about it. BHO is a manufactured candidate, hand picked by Marxist worldwide to be THE ONE.
This made me laugh out loud, kinda off topic but those dems have egos!
5:38 p.m.Davis is still waiting for makeup when Sen. Chuck Schumer enters the room, entourage in tow. “Lanny!” he says. “What are you doing here?” Davis explains that they’re going to be on O’Reilly together. Schumer’s smile vanishes. He turns to Amy Sohnen, a heretofore cheery Fox News executive producer. “Absolutely not,” Schumer says. Apparently there’s been a mix-up. Schumer thought he was going to be appearing alone. Davis, sensing trouble, drifts over to the food table.
The senator storms out of the office to make a phone call. Outside in the hall, his spokesman is soft-yelling into his cell. It’s unclear whether the objection is to Davis himself or appearing on-screen with someone of lesser stature than Schumer.
After a few minutes, Sohnen approaches Lanny. There’s been a terrible mistake, she explains, and they can’t have him on the show. “That’s not an option,” Davis says. He was the original guest, and he gave his permission for Schumer to join him. “I’m sorry. Unless Roger Ailes calls me personally, I’m doing the show.”
6 p.m.Set of The O’Reilly Factor. Schumer and Davis sit down with Bill O’Reilly at a table overlooking the convention floor. Apparently O’Reilly has been briefed on Schumer’s tiff. “No one tells me what to do either, and I’m the star,” O’Reilly says. “Now, siddown.” They agree Schumer will speak first, and that he and Davis won’t appear on-screen together.
Off topic but our local PBS station is carrying the feed.
Me and you both! For a year or so after Katrina, I turned the channel every time he came on...time to start doing it again.
I thought Jessie was gonna cut his nuts off! He should be arrested by the USSS as a threat.
“Hope, change, hope change, change hope blech!
Sounds exciting /s
LOL!! Yep!
I’m also cracking up at the hipster doofus with the mirrored Aviator sunglasses that CSPAN was showing who was attempting to sing along, but knew none of the words to this song.
Delicious!
I’m preparing mana and honey for dinner in anticipation of the blessed event.
And wine. Lots of wine.
No wonder he’s not speaking.
Obama doesn’t want to be anywhere near him LOL
Hope, change, hope change, change hope blech!
Sounds exciting /s”
I “hope” I have some “change” left in my pocket when he’s through with us.
Thanks for your pings on Gustav. I hope that thing does not cancel the GOP but, it has the potential. For those that do not know, NautiNurse is FR’s resident hurricane info poster.
Methinks this is the most used Pic of N0bamma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........
ah now when he played live at the acropolis, THAT was a concert!
I’m not watching it. What are they doing?
Not sure who the Olympian in the picture with Gore is...
Did anyone catch Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh on Letterman last night? They are such sweet ladies and really spoke with respect about President Bush (though Letterman tried to insinuate Bush might be a dirty old man in regards to meeting them). Walsh and May were real class acts and didn’t let his remarks drag the conversation into the gutter. Very refreshing to see such patriotism on the part of two Gold Medal winners.
I don’t think Obama is the anti-christ. He doesn’t even frighten me. What does is that soooo many in our country think this guy is a messiah type figure who is about to save the world. That should scare the hell out of anybody. The democrats have been very very successful of creating a sub-culture that walks around with their hands out demanding the Federal Government fill ‘er up. This is what our country is up against, Socialism. The democrat party of my father no longer exists. It died with JFK. What we have today is Socialism, special intrest and power hungry politicans who’ll do anything, anything, to retain their power.
I sincerely hope you are correct in your asseration that McCain wins in a landslide. Either way however, we are in for a democrat in the White House for the next four years.
Cheers, I’m going to don my orange Toga now and get my keg of rum ready.
