Where in the Constitution does it say that the federal government has any business in the local schools? I can show you where the states have the rights not delegated to the federal government.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
This comes from the original United States here...(The Articles of Confederation.
Each state retains its sovereignty, freedom, and independence, and every power, jurisdiction, and right, which is not by this Confederation expressly delegated to the United States, in Congress assembled.
The Articles also state this...
And Whereas it hath pleased the Great Governor of the World to incline the hearts of the legislatures we respectively represent in Congress, to approve of, and to authorize us to ratify the said Articles of Confederation and perpetual Union.
What was our initial government? A theocracy?
Amazing, isn’t it, that we didn’t have the commie ACLU around to sue all aspects of religion out of our country in the first 200 years,
and for some reason, we didn’t become a dreaded “theocracy”.
And more to the point, it can be tracked that the removal of the “theocratic” elements from schools was the start of an exponential increase in ALL negative social indicators.
