Okay, this bothers me. Has anyone else noticed that Obama uses a faded, wimpy light blue instead of the bold, military blue in his campaign colors of red, white, and blue? Even Biden was wearing the light blue tie in Springfield on Saturday. It says, "Okay, I'll do the patriotic red, white, and blue thing, but not too red, white, and blue."
Where is the Obama not crossing his heart photo?

Watch for China and Russia to get REALLY aggressive if Obama is President. He will make Carter look like Reagan.

Maybe his marketing and public relations people have told him that he looks better in that color. I don’t think it’s a big deal.
The more feminine, U.N. blue symbolizes the new, softer America ready to have its ass kicked by anyone wanting to do it. The deep, dark blue as currently used on our flag does not fit the image of the “New America” that Obama is trying to show to our enemies.
Worse yet... look at the colors(and the RED STAR) in the DNC logo on the facade of the Pepsi Center!

Well I’m not busy so I looked into it. The convention colors are faded too. And incidentally, Wikipedia links to the Democrat convention’s official website, but not to the GOP convention on the corresponding page.
So, getting sleepier by the minute, I found my way to the official GOP convention site via dogpile, and discovered its official logo, which can be found here:

Before I read your comment that is exactly what I thought - that’s the rising sun - the meatball as it was called in WWII when it represented the enemy. Who approved that design?
