“Am I the only person in America who absolutely HATES it when a woman has fake eyebrows?”

No, sir, you are not. BTW, Michelle Obama has the same problem

McCain has started doing very well running on conservative ideas, Saddleback as a good example. Romney has articulated conservative values that can be contrasted with the liberal ideas Obama’s policy offers. I am yet to be impressed with other choices, except credit for Rudy Guiliani because he simply stated “change is a slogan”, and Rudy is the attack dog that Biden wishes he could be like.

...Rudy’s the most articulate of the potential veeps, but he’s got some issue areas where he’s weak on knowledge. He’s also the strongest pro-choice option McCain has.

...MTP panel, watch them. They are demoralized, I think. I would be interested in others’ opinions. I think they believe they are going to lose.

I hope to God they're right! I was surprised that they were saying a few things straight without so much hype as usual. Now that you mention it, it could have been resignation to the inevitable.

Hillary “loan” money for her campaign

$5 Million at one point, she’d never have that much left over after Obama’s ‘tax plan’

Prior to that hearing, Thomas says (in his book) that Biden phoned him and told him that he would go lightly on him at the hearing. What a liar.

Hey! Depends what he was planning to do. Maybe he ditched the rope he was gonna bring.

Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s Mitt’s real world view—finally coming through when he’d lost in the primaries. If so, it could be part of a very powerful pro-middle class message that he could deliver from here on out.

Wow, you sure have a knack for analysis. Great job.

I guess what got me was, were I doing the interview, I would have had zillion followups and Brokaw didn't seem to.

I did sota wonder what that moronic almost robotic smile she was doing was all about and your take does make a lot of sense:

"I am the queen how dare you question my commands,no one else in the DBM would dare question my commands"

that would be a piglosi trait.

You are right Brokaw he did say at the end than "than we will have drilling" you could see she was dying for a response but they broke instead.

And the "he's the complete package was just more of the overall strategy of "tell em' anything and they will believe it BS" that she had been spewing the entire interview.

To even listen to a Piglosi interview you have to be aware that 90% of what she is says is all DNC chatting points and out and out lies poised to promote rat agendas.

Absolutely that's the biggest question around, what kind of financial arrangement does she have with the Messiah to bake a loaf of bread(you know how she likes to cook) and then have him turn it into a cashiers check for 20 million!

If hill and bill think they will get stiffed you might see a little action from them just to insure her 2012 coronation.

If you use 2004 turn out then it would be 35 percent Democrats, 35 percent Republicans and 30 percent independents.

Wrong about party id %age. According to the 2004 exit polls, the breakdown was 37%, 37% 26%.

But Kerry got 95 percent of the Democratic vote. Not 77 percent.

Wrong about %Dems who voted for Kerry. According to the 2004 exit polls, Kerry got 89% of the democrat vote, while Bush got 93% of the Republican vote.

Please see the Exit polls here: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/US/P/00/epolls.0.html

Yeah I know it’s scary what is going on out there! I got globally warmed last week in NC when it hit 62 degrees one morning. I wonder if the polar bears have been alerted?

FOXNEWS just have live recreate ‘68 protesters in Denver, reporters trying to talk to the crowd, and many refuse to talk, and a small chant of f*** Fox News starts before they end the clip, sounds like how the DU and Daily Kos web sites read. Very Code Pinkish too.

The choice of VP candidate is never determinative.

I certainly can't disprove your comment. However, we are now in an era of 50% elections. I suspect that Lieberman may have been a fateful choice for Gore in 2000. Whatever, McCain probably has more riding on his choice of a running mate than any Pub in my memory.

McCain pulled even with or ahead of Obama before selecting his VP nominee.

Biden doesn't change the math.

McCain is, thus, afforded the luxury of factoring in some preemptive, long-range strategies with his pick.

Just dropping by to get a feel for how things are going as well as what the mood is about the election.  I'm beginning to see the possibility of an inverted bell curve, with the likeliest outcome being one of the extremes at either end of the curve.

Obama wins and the extreme left triumphs... forever, as they manufacture an excuse to impose Stalinist "emergency rule"

McCain wins and his coat tails sweep the Dims out of the majority and sane Democrats take back control of their party from the wingnuts

  U

My preferred outcome would clearly be described as yet another "temper tantrum" by the ignorant voters! ;^)

On the other, I am still having ongoing health issues and I'm still keeping a low profile to keep the stress down.  My weight has stabilized after losing 50 lbs (!!!) between October and June.  I really needed to lose that weight, but I wish it had been deliberate and not from the inability to keep food down! (freepmail will follow with more details)

Best to everyone
