It’s the resolution, Obama,

Iran letter sparks new fight between Clinton, Obama

http://www.reuters.com/article/asiaTopNews/idUSIndia-30287620071102

Clinton, battered in a debate earlier this week for backing a resolution labeling an Iranian military unit a terrorist group

Obama instead introduced a binding Senate measure nullifying the earlier resolution.

Clinton, of New York, was the only senator running for president to support the measure. Dodd and Biden voted against it, while Obama did not vote.

Beauty shop operators, being classic small business owners, tend to be conservative. A wonderful place to spread the Truth about Obama Joe Biden.

Haven’t we seen a similar pattern of letters somewhere in the past 7 years? The subliminal message alone is scary.

Exactly. How could Mama Biden be that wealthy if her husband was a “boiler repairman”. Did she remarry into money?

The point I was making is that the official bio completely ignores this storyline. On the one hand we’re supposed to be awed by his modest roots. OTOH, from the video of his home we’re supposed to take a sense of “gravitas”.

It doesn’t add up.

Now the question is what will McCain do? The election could hinge on his decision.

Barring fatal mistakes by candidates or cataclysmic developments beyond the control of the political parties, the VP pick will be the single greatest determinant of this election. Obama's inexperience and McCain's age loom large over this race. So far, this fact is born out by the Biden selection.

McCain needs a running mate as relatively youthful and appealing as Obama. It is a sad, but accurate, testament to the shallowness of American politics. Speaking strictly from this aspect, I would go with Romney.

Brit, as usual, was right on point this morning when he referred to Hillary as the wild card. If she she passionately calls upon her supporters to support Obama, he will be in a very good position coming out of Denver. However, if 2012 is all that matters, she will certainly hold back. Watching for misstatements from Obama and treachery from Hillary is the only reason to watch the stupidity of the coming week in Colorado.

For all her Dem ‘beliefs’, Nancy Pelosi and her husband own many hotels and vineyards....yet refuse to hire union workers.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This is simply because the leftist movement in the Dem party is not genuinely socialist or communist. It is fascist.

People in the USA are generally slow to understand the significance of this fact.

I believe Johnah Goldman in his book." Liberal Fascism" points out the gravitas of that socio-economic fact, relating to the aristocratic wealth of Democrats.

Obama picked Biden, oh no!

The Unbraiding
Can the Democrats make themselves look tough?
by Jeffrey Goldberg March 21, 2005

http://www.newyorker.com/archive/2005/03/21/050321fa_fact

On October 29th, Biden said, he was campaigning for Kerry in Pennsylvania, the state in which he was born, when he heard, on the radio, that Osama bin Laden had issued a videotape in which he belittled Bush and promised to continue to “bleed” America.

Biden nearly panicked when he heard about the tape, he said, because he worried that Kerry’s reaction might seem tepid or petty.

His advice to Kerry throughout the campaign—which, he complained, went unheeded much of the time—was to harden his message, to focus, as Bush was doing, on terrorism alone: to sound, in short, more like the President and less like a Democratic senator from Massachusetts.

“I’m listening to the radio,” Biden said. “ ‘Today’ ”—here he adopted a radio announcer’s voice—“ ‘the President of the U.S. said dah-dah, dah-dah, dah-dah, and he said he’s sure Senator Kerry agrees with him.

Senator Kerry, unable to resist a dig’—that’s what the announcer said, that was the phrase—‘said today had we acted’—I’m paraphrasing—‘had we acted properly in Tora Bora, we wouldn’t have this problem.’ ”

Biden continued, “I’m on the phone, I e-mail, I say, ‘John, please, say three things:

“How dare bin Laden speak of our President this way.”

No. 2, “I know how to deal with preventing another 9/11.”

No. 3, “Kill him.”

’ Now, that’s harsh. Kerry needed to be harsh. And it was—Jesus Christ.” Here Biden threw up his hands. “He didn’t make any of it. Let’s get it straight. None of it. None of those three points were made.”

Here is the situation. McCain has 91 percent of Republicans supporting him. Obama has 77 percent of Democrats supporting him. 23 percent of Democrats are telling pollsters that they will not vote for Obama. 12 of that 23 percent says they are going to vote for McCain. The other 11 percent either says they are going to vote for "Someone other than Obama" or not going to vote at all.

Plus McCain has a 9 point lead amoung independent voters. bush in 2004 tied Kerry amongh independent voters with each getting 18 million independent votes.

The media pollsters are saying the Obama enthusiasm accounts for them surveying 39 percent Democrats, 32 percent Republicans and 29 percent independents.

If you use 2004 turn out then it would be 35 percent Democrats,m 35 percent Republicans and 30 percent independents.

If you use those figures then McCain has a 5 point lead.

But Kerry got 95 percent of the Democratic vote. Not 77 percent.

The media is trying its best to turn this situation around for Obama.

But this is areal clue. Obama had bought big TV and Radio spot buys in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, South Dakota and Montana. Yesterday he canceled those spot orders and bought big time in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. MCain has been out spending Obama in Ohio, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

Two poits. If the 400 hundred million Obama was predicted to get by refusing federal funding he would not need to take money from those six states to spend in Ohio, Michigan and P.A. He would have tons of bucks to buy everwhere.

If Obama were winning in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Dakota and MOntana, he would not need Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

ONe final point. Despite what hte meida says once a voter decides on a candidate to support, it is very hard to change a mind. In 1996, 2000, and 2004 independents have decided in early summer. For 80 year prior to that independents did not decide until the final days of the election. The conventional wisdom was that this year independents would go back to waiting until the finaly days before election to decide.

But once again conventional wisdom is wrong. Independents in Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania have made up their minds.. Only about 15 to 20 percent remain undecided. And McCains lead ranges from 9 to 23 percent. To tie McCain among independents Obama must win 3 out of 4 independents who have not made up their minds.

Obama is where hillary was in late April of the primary season. There are 2 months left to go, but like HIllary in the primaries Obama does not have much of a chance.
