Maybe so but it would be a stretch to claim that the more vaccines, the healthier we will become.
I am highly skeptical of the number of vaccines and the ages little ones' are bombarded. As the grandmother of an autistic grandson, parents' wishes and concerns are to be respected, too.
because you are vaccinated does not mean you are immune....
You answered your own question already.
Hence the un-vaccinated are a threat to the vaccinated--as they can be carriers.
For the sake of your family and the community, you NEED to find another doctor, who will be competent and give you the release you need. Risking your family’s exposure to any number of life threatening diseases because your Doc makes you opt out of all vaccinations or none, cannot be an option.
“Oh never mind, they t keep these stats. I wonder why.
Of course they do ... “
You are using scare tactics in this thread. Nobody disputes the 20th century benefits. It’s only the last 20 years where money is dominating the agenda, not documented health benefits.
How about modern day info on the modern day disputable vaccines? Hepatitis, Chicken Pox, HPV, Meningitis. Where are these specs?
As a physician, if you’ve been one for a fair stretch, you’ll have to admit that the number of vaccines given now as opposed to 30 years ago is what, triple? And they are given at younger ages and in greater concentration (more than one at a whack and more of those in a shorter time span). Have you seen the videos of kids who are normal one day, get the vaccines when they are two, and are just gone (autistic) within days of the shot? Would you like to review my wife’s file, where within 48 hours of getting the 3 Hep B vaccines over 12 months she was suffering from “unexplained” neurological issues ranging from pain to partial paralysis? Can you explain why the Feds immunized the vaccine makers from litigation while setting up a fund to compensate vaccine injuries?
Yes, vaccines have done WONDERS for the world. But do we really need ALL of those that they’ve come up with in the last few decades - I mean, Hep B is pretty rare, and everyone had chicken pox, and if you worry about HPV for your kid, tell them not to have sex outside of a monogamous marriage. And if there were genetic markers that could indicate susceptibility, which one blocked study indicated, wouldn’t you be open about it?
Finally, if we’re worried about the outbreak of diseases that have been wiped out in this country, perhaps more border controls are in order.
Thank you so much for your contribution here. Evil abounds all around us and it is a breath of fresh air to read your thoughts.
” . . . there are a few homeschool folks that are definitely of the luner-airborne-rodent type.”
There are MANY public school TEACHERS that meet that description.
I dont trust our goverment and I sure dont trust mega corps that make billions of dollars injecting hundreds of millions with who knows what.
I dont need to be a doc like joe in order to have more common sense then God gave a crowbar.
There is this thing called GOOGLE, and you really ought to try it before posting... you will find many studies of effectiveness and cost/benefits for each vaccine mentioned.
Personally, I would choose to give my kids the polio, MMR (in individual shots), tetanus and whooping cough vaccines. I don't believe that hepatitis, chicken pox and the HPV vaccines are not necessary. Two of those diseases are sexually transmitted. I'd only give the chicken pox vaccine to kids who reached their teen years and had still not contracted the disease. (This was my dr's recommendation when the kids were young.) If the kids want the shots, they can choose to get them when they're adults.
As an adult, I got the pneumonia vaccine and get the flu shot every fall as do my kids. (My son's a type 1 diabetic and can't afford to get ill.)
This way diseases which are true threats to the public health are kept in check and the rest is up to individual responsibility and one bad one which usually doesn't threaten life and limb.
But I'm talking about parental choice. The gov't is far over reaching on this subject. (As indicated by Texas Governor Perry's attempt to force Gardasil on every school-age female in the state.)
Bump.
/Are your loved ones vaccinated?
An excellent point made here.
If vaccines work as they claim, how could their child possibly get sick?
If I had to choose between measles (which I’ve had and survived) and being autistic, guess what?
