Prayers for Cajungirl

I'd like everyone to know that Cajungirl is in a potentially life-threatening crisis/illness.
She is a dear friend to me and others here know her by her humor and impressive writing. (We met during the hilarious Runaway Bride debacle, and C.G. gave us some hilarious instruction about Southern Culture and weddings and flatware!)
Few here know, and she never tells about herself, but she is a very accomplished woman in the healing profession. She has spent her life doing good works. She loves life, her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. Recently she partially retired and she and her husband have had plans to travel over-seas.
With a faith that is as strong as conviction, I ask you all to include her and her family in special prayers, because I know it will help.
This has come upon us all so suddenly. I am not only praying for her life. I pray that she be comforted by The Comforter , Himself. So be it, Amen.

I have lung cancer, not ovarian cancer. But I understand the impact it can have on one's life. May God watch over you and guide those medical people who will care for you. May He give you and your family peace and strength as you endure this trial. May He restore you to complete health in His service, in Jesus' name.

Bless your heart cajungirl. So sorry to hear this. May God help you each step of the way through this.
But, remember, everyday people are surviving cancers we thought were killers before, melonoma, breast, brain tumors. So many now have fought off cancer several times during their lifetimes. People I thought did not have a chance, have lived many, many years.
I knew a lady that had breast cancer, colon cancer and even bladder cancer in her lifetime. She was like the energizer bunny. A tiny thing that you never would guess had all those health problems.

GOOD NEWS !
Cajungirl had her surgery yesterday afternoon and all of your prayers ---for which Pat and her family are so very thankful---have surely, it appears, been answered! The doctors believe they 'got it all', and our greatest fear, of where all it may have spread, was discounted: it did not turn out to be Stage 4, as it very well could have been. The hospital stay will be four or five days, I believe. God is good, all the time.
He is "I AM!"
(laugh and run and sing!)
lol we are just so relieved. thank you thank you thank you. I know many more here prayed than posted, too. Thanks to all of you for your wonderful and powerful faith.
