The Russian President has now signed the ceasefire deal. The Russians are destroying as many economic and military targets as possible. They were filmed yesterday on the Georgian Black Sea Coast destroying the remains of the Georgian Navy and Coastguard.

The Russian President has now signed the ceasefire deal.

That is a piece of paper. It is meaningless.

Well, then, in any final legal agreement, I would impose that they're going to have to provide restitution and replace those vessels.

I’m still trying to put my mind around all this and how the world not only failed Georgia, but itself. To allow Russia to remain on a rampage across this country while brokering a piece of paper...

I am probably overreacting, but I am really grieved by the events of the past week. Not only the betrayal of Russia, and what that means from here on out in this world, but of the leaders of the world and their (non) reaction.
