Ok. I get it. Georgia is an ally. So personally how far are you willing to go to protect their mentally unstable president Saakashvili who started the war only because he thought US and NATO will send in their troops to fight Russians?

Please don’t tell me it is an energy independence issue for us, because BTC pipeline connects Aserbaidzhan and Turkey. Not exacly where we get the oil from. Europe, on the other hand will be screwed. So why not let Europeans deal with this mess?

What is your basis for Saakashvili's mental instability? Nothing is every totally clean but your allegations are conjecture. If he was trying to manipulate us he failed. I find it more likely that Putin was trying to manipulate the former Soviet Bloc states into avoiding alliances with the west by showing them that most people in the west think like you... or as Bismark said...

So I guess you are in good company (sort of).
