This is a column condemning cowardice, including my own. It begins with the story of a novel you cannot read.
"The Jewel of Medina" was written by a journalist called Sherry Jones. It recounts the life of Aisha, a girl who was married off at the age of six to a 50-year-old man called Mohamed ibn Abdallah. On her wedding day, Aisha was playing on a seesaw outside her home. Inside, she was being betrothed. The first she knew of it was when she was banned from playing out in the street with the other children. When she was nine, she was taken to live with her husband, now 53. He had sex with her. When she was 14, she was accused of adultery with a man closer to her own age. Not long after, Mohamed decreed that his wives must cover their faces and bodies, even though no other women in Arabia did.
You cannot read this story today - except in the Quran and the Hadith. The man Mohamed ibn Abdallah became known to Muslims as "the Prophet Mohamed," so our ability to explore this story is stunted. "The Jewel of Medina" was bought by Random House and primed to be a best seller - before a University of Texas teacher saw proofs and declared it "a national security issue."
Random House had visions of a re-run of the Rushdie or the Danish cartoons affairs. Sherry Jones' publisher has pulped the book. It's gone.

I refuse to follow or even tolerate the cult founded by the moron child molesting prophet mo-ham-head. The man invented the moslem religious dogma of pig, goat, and sheep molesting. He made child rape acceptable and common place in slime pits like Iran and Iraq. He made criminal acts acceptable and encouraged in his sick and perverted society. What kind of sick cultures allow for murdering young women because they casually speak to young men their own age, yet condone the practice of homosexual relations with young boys. Who in his or her right mind could ever follow or even allow for the practice of a perverted cult founded by mo-ham-head the pig molester? Every time anyone gives these deranged vile deviates an inch it emboldens them to more outrageous actions. Must they kill a child, or a family member before people wake up and see what a threat they are? Wake up America before it is too late.
so so pathetic. We are cowardly, to no end it seems. Watch the film Obsession and you’ll think twice. This threat is too real and too scary to pussyfoot around in some sort of PC dreamworld.

Sure you can. That is, if you want our moral standards to revert to those of the 7th century, when a 50 year old scumbag marrying and raping a 9 year old little girl was AOK.
