The use of units comprised of ethnic Chechens to do much of the very dirty work in Georgia.
The nickname [Shrek] given by his comrades to the bald, pug-eared soldier was the only moment of light relief during a day of tense drama in which The Times witnessed Russia breaching the ceasefire agreement over South Ossetia at will.At a checkpoint set up by the Russian Army on the approach to the city of Gori from the Georgian capital, Tbilisi, an armoured personnel carrier blocked the road and riflemen had fanned out in the surrounding bushes, their weapons trained on anyone who approached.
All were ethnic Chechens, whose reputation for pitiless brutality in war made them feared throughout the Caucasus.
The last sentence is an understatement.

I was on a chechen list once and a poster mentioned he had a video of a friend disemboweling a seven month old child in front of the child's Russian mother. For fun. There were something like ten immediate requests for copies of the video.
The Chechens killing Georgians now are the same ones who waged jihad against Russia. In return for switching sides the Chekist Putin allowed them to take over Chechnya. Chechnya today is a dictatorship run by “former” terrorist rebels, and Putin calls this a victory! As far as I can tell, they are “former” rebels because they won their rebellion! They run Chechnya now just like they always wanted!
Real Chechens would much rather kill Russians.
See this for example.
I cannot believe they went through Shatili. My gosh. The people there must have been completely terrified.
I am sure they are real chechens but they are not associated with the group at kavkaz.
This is all part of the new world war we are ALL in, one way or another called WW IV since the real WW III was the old “Cold War”.
That is why I call Putin Gorin, the troll from “Lord of The Rings” who wanted the “ring”.
What it all comes down to, is that Russia is trying to re-start the old Soviet empire.
NATO’s European members will have to do the heavy lifting on this. Putin was, and is, KGB. I never thouight he ever changed..
“Chechens and South Ossetians are killing people in the villages,” she shouted as she slowly hobbled into the distance.

Isn’t it nice that people can learn to work together? It was only a few years ago that Chechen terrorists were blowing up Ossetian women and children in Beslan. And now look how they’re getting along.
Putin has taken a page straight out of Hitlers black book. In WWII, when the Wermacht invaded the Soviet Union, it was followed closely by Einsatzgruppen, a militia of thugs (many of whom were Lithuanian) whose role was to cleanse the area of locals after the army had moved on. Some of the most horrendous atrocities of the war were committed on innocent civilians by these Einsatzgruppen. It got so bad that many in the Wermacht were sickened by the actions of the Einsatzgruppen, and morale in the Wermacht began to suffer and they were afraid of being associated with the evil militia. Not a few German senior officers protested to Berlin, even going so far as threatening to have the troops open fire on the Einsatzgruppen if they were found near the troops.

Stalin returned the favor, when he sent in Mongol units to rape the women of Berlin, after the Russian regulars had taken it.
The Russians obviously learned nothing from Beslan. They will pay a price in blood for unleashing their savage mohammedan dogs to rape and exterminate the Christian people of Georgia.
Communists never ever use indigenous personel in these situations, there is too big a danger of empathy and fraternization.
The Russian Orthodox patriarch has called for an end to the Chekist Putin’s slaughter of Georgia’s Orthodox Christians. So Putin sent his Chechen Red Army jihadists to exterminate the Georgians. Putin said Russia is Islam’s best friend in the world and that Russia will never be part of any Christian “holy alliance” against Islam.
well then, let’s roll!
