Not only have I not seen an online transcript ... the three major news websites I looked at (Fox, CNN, MSNBC, ABC) give no indication that our President made a statement at all about a major and perilous international incident.

It’s all about some Rockefeller guy in California, the Olympics, and some gal that took so many steroids she became a “man.”

Read about it earlier. During an interview with a news outlet Russian planes came over the Presidential residence or palace or whatever they called it and the interview had to end. They said bombs or missiles fell. The President was taken away by his security team to a more secure place.

FOX blew it again. But ABC, NBC and CBS opted to not broadcast it at all.

Take a look at what McCain actually said. Then look at what Bush actually said. In substance, there’s no real difference.

Yup. We all need to put in a plug for innocents in danger. Remember, Bush said we would back up Georgia and they were an ally. It would be another reason to think the U.S. stinks if we back down now. We’re in a tough spot of our foreign policy’s own making, so those of us who had absolutely nothing to do with this impasse had best give it over to the One Who Can Make it Right.
