The full excerpt clearly states that the Georgian action was a
response to a separatist attack on Georgian villages.
As I said, and a point you clearly miss, the excerpt from wiki would suggest to the objective person that the beginning of offensive activities is NOT clear. It's more like, he said -- she said, who started it.
