This would be the “or else” I mentioned when we opened talks with Iran a few weeks back,
IF,
it was confirmed with statements from named US (and/or Kuwaiti) officials,
OR IF,
multiple sources were reporting the same thing.
With just this single source, war with Iran remains possible, but not confirmed.
It may not happen at all. If it does, either the US suppresses Iran orders of magnitude beyond what we did under OIF, OR, Joe Average here at home WILL feel the pinch.
