I agree. What organization would want it’s employees using it’s name on the web, without any oversight?

Darn, now we’ll never find out what the biased, liberal, globalists at CNN really think.

And of course private communication with friends or family about issues that arent in the news is finePhew, glad they got that cleared up. Calling the supervisor for permission to talk to Grandma would get tedious for everyone.

It makes one wonder if, perhaps, there are dissenters to the Obama theology?? Excellent question. Maybe there is a movement afoot to nominate Hillary.

Ah.. an admitted troll. LOLIn exactly the same way that I'm a racist for not supporting Obama.

Thanks. BTW, the McCain bashing has seemingly died down. I think the rhetoric level during primary season around here is a bit much. But most come to their senses once they realize who the real opponent is. I am not thrilled with McCain, but Obama would be 100% pure disastrous (see my tagline).

Golly, so now we won’t know who Jack Cafferty really likes?

The Supreme Court ruled that campaign donations is the equivalent of speech. Does this mean that CNN employees are forbidden to donate to political campaigns, too?

No one is permitted to mention all of the gaffes they edit and correct in transcription.

>>>Actually, the restrictions are well within the bounds of an employer - employee contract.
Totally agree, but are they
1: Disclosed pre-employment
2: In line with collective bargaining (union) agreements covering on-air talent, technicians, etc.
Most of all in a company that holds itself out to be “fair and balanced” (I know that is the FOX term, but you know what I mean), if a poster/speaker was willing to declare that they were not speaking on behalf of the company but only posting/giving a personal opinion, why is the restriction needed, or even worse, (God forbid) PC ?
