Intriguingly, too, Maya Soetoro-Ng is believed to have been born outside the United States, in Indonesia, so her apparent ownership of a Hawaiian Certificate of Live Birth raises questions about how such a document was produced for an Indonesian-born girl.

This makes no sense.

It does look pretty screwy. If they could get a COLB for Maya, the sister who wasn't born in the US, why couldn't they get one for Obama?

For all the pictures Techdude or TexasDarlin put up on the Internet, I don't think they've released documentation to back up this contention.

My guess is that this last bit is where the wheels fall off Techdude's theory.

Something has to be amiss with his birth. Why all the deceptiveness otherwise? I’ve always wondered how his parents could legally be married here if the father was still married to another woman in Kenya. Did his father just have to return the chickens and donkeys to the wife’s family for an annulment? After all, he did have a child from that Kenyan marriage, and B.O’s mother was already pregnant with him when they claim to have married in the U.S. There’s just too many unanswered questions, and attempts to cover-up the truth by deceit and forgery. The fact that he got this far without having to prove he’s a legal candidate is unbelievable.

You've put your finger on what's "amiss": he doesn't know whether or not his parents were legally married or not, and he didn't really want to look into it for fear of what he might find out. He says so in his autobiography. But to jump from that to a story about his mother flying off to Kenya is loopy.
