Now someone is talking about visiting the National Renewable Energy labs in Nevada - now a dem is responding. Blah, blah, blah - waiting for $125M for colleges to research new tech areas, to help with the “re-tooling” of America. Intend to pay for this by taking “little tiny sliver” of the tax breaks. Yeah; right. It’s all about the children.

Rush had a DEM caller on yesterday who made our point without even realizing it. He started out the call saying that GOVERNMENT needs to work harder together AS A TEAM to get legislation like a sound energy policy passed. Then he tried to make an analogy on how teamwork can solve difficult problems. He said that he works for an airline company and for the past two years, the team that he works with worked to make an auxillary power unit that has saved the company $2 million in fuel expenses.

Rush immediately pounced on the opportunity to slap down some knowledge and told the gentleman that the only reason that he and his team were able to come up with a working solution is because there WASN'T any government interference. It was a private company solution.

All of this research meant to be conducted with Federal grant money can be done equally well in the private sector if the TAX MONEY is left in the hands of Americans!
