We who obsess over universal health coverage may soon confront a startling development: The only candidate on a major-party presidential ticket to have proposed and implemented a universal plan could well be a Republican. I speak of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, now high on the list of John McCain's possible running mates.

Ohh good idea!
“None of your business.”
Hahahahahahaha, ....... hahahahahahahaha, ..... hahahahahaha, coward.
Does flying trump walking on water?
LOL..Mitt failed to buy the nomination, but maybe enough money will buy him the VP slot....typical.
Coward?
LOL. As if I care what you think of me. I don’t divulge a lot of things about myself. It up to every poster on these boards what they want to say about themselves.
Any investigation of Palin was probably set up by Romney.
How did the investigations into Romney’s fake LEO badges
work out for you, CON-MAN?
Out of sheer curiosity what is your preference based on the knowledge you have right now?
“Toots? How do you know if I am a male or female? Do you know how disrespectful that is to both sexes? But of course I wouldnt expect anything less from someone like you.”
Well, at least you figured out that “toots” can be either sex, or did you. And I must admit, with the name pepperhead, that sure makes it difficult to figure out what sex you are. But I’d welcome you on my dinner table. I love pepper.
What amazes me is the viciousness, hypocrisies and ad hominems
of some of the ROmneyBOTs and Romney-Believers.
I thought that viciousness was only in the DNC. Wrong.
Unless I’m mistaken I believe you said you were open to her making fun of your religion (to prove that it was Mitt’s Mormonism?). That would obviously include knowing which religion it is. But I’m Catholic, so just knowing you’re “Protestant” is enough for me. ;^)
I wouldn’t feel welcomed at your table because your a nasty person.

LOL! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. You guys ALWAYS start it. ALWAYS the Romney haters. We respond. Just don’t expect to win when you bring a knife to a gunfight. And, by the way, don’t bring your spam/pics roadshow. Try something new. That’s if I’m even talking to a real person, and not a recorded message.
Amazing and wonderful. Just too cool! :-) Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures and stories.
“wouldnt feel welcomed at your table because your a nasty person.”
Likewise, I’m sure. But I will welcome the salt. And Mitt Romney, of course. Would love to have him at my dinner table.
You are a complete coward, in light of your mocking religion comment. And actually, I wouldn’t want to know too much about you, except of course, for your religion. Why can’t you own up to your own religion? Embarrassed about it?
Romney supports the right of the US Boy Scouts to exclude gays.... oooooh. How liberal.
He said US companies would probably hire diversity on the basis of societal pressure (but he didn’t support mandates) ..... oooooh. How liberal.
He gave a vague comment about not wanting to return to Reagan/Bush. Perhaps he didn’t want to return to high deficits. Perhaps he didn’t want to duplicate Reagan’s 1986 amnesty for illegals.
The only flip Romney has done is the best reason I now like and support him. He had the common sense to become ProLife. What’s the big deal. Reagan flipped, GWHB flipped. Many other respected conservatives became ProLife in their latter years. So what.
That YouTube clip, if it was supposed to prove Romney a liberal, is laughable — if only for the fact it is 15 years old... and it was nothing but a bunch of gotcha questions from smarmy liberal reporters who were supporting Teddy Kennedy, and trying to make Romney look bad.
Hey, that's a good enough reason for me.
Go Romney!
Romney as VP will get me out there campaigning, volunteering, donating, and supporting the GOP ticket.
No other VP candidate I can think of has that effect on me and the many Republicans I hang around with.
The anti Romney crowd on FR is a tiny tiny minority, not to mention petty also.
